  1. The U19 keeper McNulty has also been given a 1 year contract and will be in the first team squad next season. I doubt he will be the second choice keeper though, as Brewster says we will be going with 3 keepers in the first team squad next season. That's a first as far as I can recall.
  2. I'm very disappointed with Mike Smith on this. He should have given TCJ a good clip round the ear and then dragged him out of the stadium by the scruff of the neck.
  3. He just went there on loan for 1 month after his trial with us. I think he is back at ManU now but will be a free agent when the season ends. If no offer has been made, he probably didn't impress.
  4. Another one to add to this : Gretna had to eat cold lasagne on the journey up yesterday, because the microwave on their bus wasn't working. They were presumably too poor to stop at the Ballinluig Motorgrill.
  5. Keep up Tom, the club set the record straight weeks ago.
  6. Admin, somebody sensible appears to have obtained IHE's login and password!

    Pizza!

Pizza is the best thing to come out of Italy since double entry bookkeeping. For me, anything with anchovies is good.
  8. Did he also tell you that they signed Rankin in January? St Mirren fans are reknowned for confidently talking sh1t.
  9. Credit to Walter for getting the tactics spot on throughout this UEFA Cup run : bore the opposition into submission.
  10. Mrs Y informed me earlier that Bayern got thrashed by Peterhead :017:

    Rich List

I see that David Sutherland has crept into Scotland's top 100 richest people for the first time, with ?52m. Level with St J's Geoff Brown, but a long way below other football club owners like Tom Farmer, John Boyle, Stewart Milne and David Murray. I couldn't find Niculae.
  12. It's some kind of hysteria/psychology thing that happened somewhere else in Africa on a much bigger scale years ago.
  13. Recently signed a ?1.4m a year contract extension with the BBC for the next 4 years!
  14. John Motson :33: Jim Traynor :020: Richard Gordon :022:

Decent player to have in the squad, but not worth breaking the bank for.
  16. I voted no. He's got class but doesn't remotely justify his wage, and I'd rather have 4 new first team players instead, as well as a 6 figure transfer fee and an improvement in team spirit.
  17. We don't have a board that tells lies, we have a message board of fans that are naive.
  18. If you got back together you'd have some fun for a while but it's very unlikely to last. It's up to you whether that's worth it.
  19. The BBC perhaps jumped to the same conclusions as many people on this site. All Orion are saying is that neither they nor Savage have made any payments directly to Niculae. They are remaining silent on the arrangement by which they may have have provided funds to the club for that purpose.
  20. Go through your post, but apply it in the context of ICT getting back together with Brewster, and there's your answer!
  21. Can we take some consolation from the fact that that even at our lowest point we are still more professional than Liverpool FC?
  22. Wasps, and cats. In fact get them all together in the same room and watch the fun.
  23. I was a bit surprised by it too, but as he said, it's the first time he has seen the team with his own eyes this season and they are perhaps not as bad as he had been led to believe from other people's sometimes hysterical accounts.
