There was an article on him in the Sunday Times, basically saying how he is at a crossroads in his career. Says he is happy with us, but will be going back to Fife next week unless the clubs sort something out, or someone else comes in for him. Also mentions that Stephen Kenny was trying to find ways to recall him from loan! Reading between the lines I expect him to stay, but it'll cost us a small 5 figure transfer fee.

Setanta's SPL highlights show this evening started with Delahunt announcing of the sad news, Davie Hay then made a few comments about O'Donnell's career and then the rest of the slot was a tribute to Luis Figo. A slightly bizarre but well intended gesture I'm sure.

The relationship started round about the time the Cheeky Girls' work permit renewal applications had been rejected......but they eventually got renewed after some political intervention :024: Marius Niculae take note - if you don't prove your worth on the pitch, you may have to do some very unpleasant things if you want to stay in the UK! -

ICT unchanged from Hearts game, unsurprisingly. Our bench gives us a couple of attacking options but doesn't look particulary strong on the whole.

Amongst all the socks and chocolates, I got a named brick at TCS. Not sure when it'll get put up, but I'll have to make a pilgrimage to see it some time in the new year.

I can't imagine Proctor starting ahead of Rossco, but it's good for Brew to finally have a selection dilemma in that position.

It was either a straight red, or a superb tackle. When it happened I looked at the Hearts fans behind their goal and none of them were applauding.....it was more like they were holding their breath. A Hearts fan on P&B confirms Berra should have got red for it.

When Marius won us the penalty, I must admit didn't actually see the contact, but it was very hard to tell. I've just seen it on telly (full speed, no slow motion) and I still couldn't see it. Am I missing something? Is my eyesight poor? :024:

I thought Blackie was outstanding today. Not impressed with our substitutions though. When Bayne came on you expected a straight swap with Marius, but he instead got pushed back to central midfield. Then Wilson comes on, and you think that Brew has realised that Niculae can't play there, is kcackered and not contributing any more, and simply can't defend. But no, he stays on! If we had not snatched victory, those decisions would be coming under an awful lot more scrutiny from unhappy fans.
