Just arrived back in Glasgow. Ton fans on the train were in shock after that one. They had been playing so well up until today apparently and were hopeful of a result. I thought all our new signings were excellent. Doran was superb and Hogg solid with a good goal. Sanchez was fantastic when he came on but unfortunately with the hand injury he had to come off. He seemed to be pointing at his finger so i'd hope that it wasn't a broken wrist and he'll be back for next week. He certainly wasn't holding his wrist so from what I could see it looked more like a finger break / injury. There looked like a hand ball in the build up to their goal and our defenders were all claiming - I'm going to say yes it was a hand ball..... cue the highlights on sport scene in a few minutes for confirmation! Rooneys miss was sheer comedy. Although I wouldn't say that if it was 0-0! All in all, was a classy performance and i'm and looking forward and now confident for the trip to Paisley next week.

I agree. Doran was superb. Hogg had a good game though and I think getting MOTM will be a huge confidence booster for him, considering he was low in confidence at Hibs and dropped from the team for the last half a season. With that in mind, I'm delighted he got MOTM!

Got to feel for their fans (if any) that made the long journey to Dumfries for the game to be postponed! I know what your saying and I would be raging if it were us. I remember it happened at Killie in the cup about 10 years ago due to pitch freezing over... but still.. I stand by my last post!

my thoughts also when I first saw the squad IMO Esson is better than Bell. He has won us games and i just don't get Leveins thinking. On a more positive note, I am looking forward to the tournament. If it can be even half as successful as 6 Nations Rugby in terms of attendances, sponsorship, TV, hype etc then that's great for the Scottish game.

Coiuldn't have put it better myself! I'm watching the Celtic Dons game right now. Before the match Craig Burley went off on one about Diouf when talking about the build up to the Celtic game! He really objects to him being in Scottish football. I'm sure the interview will make the internet soon. Quite comical but spot on!

What a joke. Any club should be able to pick anyone from their squad. If their in the squad then they should be allowed to play. Is there any rules about how many changes you are allowed to make from one game to another? I don't think so! Seems the EPL bosses are just as bad as the SPL cronies.

It's 2 years to the day that Terry and Mo took charge of the club. Although we've had a dip in form last few games. i'm sure we're all in agreement they've done a great job! Happy anniversary and thanks! Here's to another 2 (and hopefully more) years with Terry and Mo!

This could be the season. COULD be. If we beat Morton, then we're in the QF. If we get someone like Brechin / Buckie / Ayr and beat them we are in the Semi. But we can beat any team left in the cup so if we get past Morton it should be interesting! Morton will be tricky though.

Buckie in the QF would be very good indeed!

A really harsh one on East Stirling I agree, but delighted to see a HL team getting through. Home to Brechin... they have a chance of getting through as well. Would be great to see them progress!

I voted no but we can still do it. Probably more likely that we won't make top 6 now IMO. We didn't play too bad against Motherwell or Rangers, were unlucky against Accies, and I hear we weren't too bad against Aberdeen. I think if we can get a win, our luck will change again quickly. Once we stop the rot, we can push again... but it has to be a victory soon.

When is his contract up? I'd have him in the starting 11 every week.

Living in Edinburgh for 6 years has made me hate the Hibs as well... and i tipped them for relegation before the season started.. I may/hope be right! Hope he doesn't go to Hibs. The state of Hibs right now, I agree he will struggle to get goals.

Was a good effort last night. Frustrating, but can't complain about effort. Rossco was inspirational. Eric did a heck of a lot of running but far too often lost the ball at the end of it. I thought Sanchez played well. Duff back in midfield doesn't work IMHO. He's great in defence but he seems to get the ball and automatically pass backwards. Good all round performance though and great pre-match karaoke from the regulars in Brechins!

Good luck to him. He scored some cracking goals for us and changed some games. Wouldn't recommend him as a manager though!

Hope the dude wakes up today and realises the amount of sweet talking it took to save him from being chucked out. Hope also he got many good pics for all his staggering efforts Highlight of the game for me was the steward telling him to stop taking photos... as he was saying this, DD decided to take a photo of him.... made me laugh!
