Falkirk -V- Inverness CT
As I actually was at yesterday's game, I feel I can comment with some confidence. If there had been any neutrals at that game they must have loved it. End to end stuff with plenty of chances at either end. The game stats show that we clearly had most possession etc and probably should have converted more of our chances and won the game, but in fact we were hanging on at the end with Falkirk clearly on top in the latter stages. Whilst I approve of giving our young goalkeeper all the support he needs to continue his improvement, the facts are that he was shaky from the start, and clearly must take the blame for Falkirk scoring direct from a corner. He did not seem to be impeded, and in my view, although we away supporters were a long way from the action, seemed just to misjudge it. Their keeper, in comparison, made several good saves which probably made the difference. Thought there were fairly encouraging signs from McCauley, and if McDonald's left foot rasper just after came on had hit the back of the net, he would have become an instant hero. Anyway, I enjoyed the game in 'Eagle for Caley's company, and look forward to my next live match.

Jordan White
Yes, I agree totally with the opening two posts. A bit of encouragement may be all the lad needs to blossom into a top striker. Good luck to him.

Favourite cup memory?
I remember that game , and that goal (the only one of the game as I recall) very well. I remember, because of flight times from London, I got to Glasgow, and subsequently Motherwell very early, a good couple of hours before the game. Ended up in a pub pre match where I met a 'scout' who was up to watch a Motherwell forward on behalf of Graeme Souness. Can't for the life of me think who that could have been now.

Favourite cup memory?
Nothing like a good dose of nostalgia to cheer us up! I think I would also go with David Raven's winner in the semi in 2015, probably as it is the most recent. If we were to extend OP's question to include League Cup, then Nick Ross's last gasp equaliser versus Hearts when we were down to 9 men, before going on to win on penalties, is right up there for me.

The Liam Polworth Enigma
Wherever he ends up it will be ICT's loss, all down to these idiotic 'boo boys' who have been on his case for years. No doubt they have already decided who to target next.

So WHAT do you know about Kilby ?
David Proctor, legend???. What are you on? Good player, yes, but legend? Not in my book. But what do I know? As I've commented on before, 'legend' seems to be banded about far too easily these days when applied to former players.

Ex-ICT players' news
I notice that 'man of many clubs', Phil Roberts, has moved again, this time to Dartford in the National League South. He scored twice today in his second game for his new club.

January signings
I agree that he was a great player for us, especially in the cup winning season. Some folks on here have short memories, and cannot see past his performances towards the end of his second spell with us, when he was clearly not fully fit. Nor was he for the year at Dons/County. However I do feel now that he will struggle to get back to his best, so perhaps it is just as well that he has gone to St Midden, not that we could have afforded his wages anyway.

Ex ICT Players Score
Although during 2018 I didn't bother posting on a daily basis as goals were scored, I did update my spreadsheets of ex ICT goalscorers every two or three weeks. I found 74 goalscorers finding the net 475 times, as detailed below. 27 goals Curtis Allen (Glentoran) 24 " Stuart Soane (Forres) 22 " Adam Rooney (Salford 18: Aberdeen 4) 20 " Rory McAllister (Peterhead) 18 " Billy Mckay (Ross Co) 17 " Andrew Greig (Formantine), Gary Wood (Formantine) 16 " Andrew MacRae (Forres) 15 " Jamie Wilson (Rothes), Shane Sutherland (Elgin) 13 " Lonsano Doumbouya (Pt Prachuap), Andrew MacAskill (Buckie), Alex Fisher (Yeovil) 12 " Dean Ebbe (TNS), Tobi Agdestein (Aalesund), Dale Gillespie (Brora 11: Rothes 1) 10 " Aidan Chippendale (Ossett Utd), Ryan Christie (Aberdeen 3 : Celtic 7), Jason Oswell (Stockport 8 : Morecombe 2) Scott Boden ( Gateshead 8 : Wrexham 2), Henri Anier (FC Lahti 8 : Estonia 2) 09 " Dan Pak (Cove R) 08 " Phil Roberts (Hemel Hempstead 5 : Braintree 2 : Chelmsford 1) 07 " Jason Brown (Peterhead ), Gavin Morrison (Brora ), Doug Imrie (Hamilton) 06 " Eddie Ofere (Fc Thanh Hoa) 05 " Calum Ferguson (Cascadia), Adam Evans (Shelbourne), Michael Finnis (Clach), Andrew Shinnie (Luton) 04 " Stuart Armstrong (Southampton 3 : Celtic 1), Tom Aldred (Motherwell), Filipe Morais (Crawley), Ibra Sekajja (Bognor R), B King (Dun Utd) G Shinnie (Aberdeen), Lewis MacKinnon (Buckie), S Duff (Inverurie), Dani Lopez (Arenas), John Rankin (Clyde) 03 " G Tade (Maccabi P), Zander Sutherland (Brora), Andreas Mutumbo (Partick), Don Cowie (Ross Co 2 : Hearts 1), Ben Greenhalgh (Concord 2 : Dartford 1) 02 " David Davis (Birmingham), Marley Watkins (Bristol C), Alex MacDonald (Mansfield), Larnell Cole (Tranmere) Danny Williams (AFC Fylde), James Vincent (Dunfermline), Miles Storey (Partick), Ali Sutherland (Rothes) Steven Rennie (Strathspey), Andrew MacLeod (Strathspey), Craig MacMillan (Strathspey), Brian Prunty (East Kilbride) 01 " Pavels Mihaduks (Spartak), Brian MacLennon (Rothes), Jamie Duff (Rothes,), Martin Laing (Inverurie) Dennis Wyness (Huntly), Stuart Leslie (Clach), Nick Ross (Brora), Nat Wedderburn (Raith) Connor Bell (Morton), Danny Devine (Dunfermline), Ross Draper (Ross Co), Ian Vigurs (Ross Co) Robert Eagle (Lowestoft), Louis Laing (Hartlep[ool), David Proctor (East Kilbride),Liam Hughes (Darlington) Happy New Year folks

January signings
Whilst I quite liked Storey when he was with us, he has scored only 2 goals for Partick all year, not exactly the form of a player who could really have made a difference for us.

Wow, that must be nearly as much as RF got from us?

ICT SUPPORTERS TRUST : AGM ADJOURNED
So, maybe its because I've not been following this thread too closely, but , for my sake, please can you explain to me what the structure of the Board now is? ie Who chairs it, who is secretary, who are the other board members.? And a brief outline of the Board's function and objectives would be helpful, including how it interfaces with ICT, the club.

Welcoming the Bairns well under strength
What about Doran? I doubt he is ever going to get back to the player he was at his best. We have been more than fair to him for years , continuing to pay him for being almost permanently injured. Surely there must come a time when we release his wage for someone who at least is fit enough to play?

ICT Xmas Dinner
Brilliant. As RIG said, there are many things the club/Board has done, or not done, which have not pleased all the supporters. However, this gesture to the lonely, or elderly, or less well off should be applauded. Well done to the Board for a sincere and appropriate initiative for which they should receive enormous credit. I hope that the day proves to be a tremendous success, and enjoyed by all who participate, both guests and ICT staff.

Ex ICT Players Score
I noticed that the match was on BBC Red Button just after half time, and had a look. Boden was subbed about five minutes after I started watching. I think that was his 5th goal for Gateshead. He also scored a couple for Wrexham earlier in the year.

The Silence is Deafening!!
Thanks for singling me out OCG. Perhaps if you lived 500 miles or more away from Inverness, your involvement on a day to day basis might not be as great as it is either. It doesn't make us 'bad ' supporters, and some of us, including me, have made sizeable investments in ICT via share purchases in the past, as a way of helping the club out. So don't knock the 'long distance' supporters. I suggest we need all we can get through the gates, even if, for me, only a few times a year.
