  1. Our defending at set pieces is appalling!. It was the same against Celtic the other night.
  2. As I'm a friend of Steve Perryman, one of Spurs great stalwarts from yesteryear, and now Director of Football at Exeter City, I keep an eye on Spurs results, and am pleased they are showing signs of revival. I can still remember their great side from the early 60s! I don't really support them but on the few occasions I've been Steve's guest in his private suite at White Hart Lane, rubbing shoulders with Pat Jennings, Martin Chivers and the like, I've found it prudent not to support the opposition!
  3. Maybe he meant 3rd bottom!
  4. And me, from near Reading!
  5. Well, there's the first part of of your double come in, Dmacca. Well done, now for the ICT bit eh?
  6. Don't make presumptions on my behalf if you don't mind. I wonder if your knowledge of Sharia Law is any better than your awareness of what Class A drug Hart was proved to be in possession of. I knew my view (and Neksor's) would not be popular but it is how I feel. Drugs and sport don't mix. I think ICT would have had more integrity had they sacked him
  7. My feelings exactly. However, I suspect we'll be in the minority prepared to express this view.
  8. Its going to be difficult retaining a top 6 spot. I believe it all hinges on our next 4 games, DU at home and then 3 tough away games on the bounce, Well, Hibs and Celtic. I think we need to come out of these 4 games with 7 or more points to have a realistic chance of staying in top 6.
  9. Absolutely spot on Mrs PB
  10. Yes, I always liked him at Motherwell, and I'm sure George Burley thought through the obvioue 'problem area' before appointing an Englishman as his number two. I'm happy to give him a chance.

Lets face it, Barry is in his last season with us, and despite being the great servant he certainly has been,, you can't blame Brew for looking ahead and trying formations which exclude him.
  12. Absolutely right.
  13. You're living in the past. Fixed wage structures are OK for part time lower league clubs. They are completley impractical for modern professional outfits, which I'm sure ICT aspire to be. We have to move with the times. Your 'no superstars/good team spitit attitude' would see us back in the lower leagues within two or tree years IMO.
  14. He should think himself lucky he wasn't sacked!
  15. Yes, reasonably happy with that. I really thought they were going to give it to that 'tool', Burns!
  16. Tend to agree with you. Tokeley's MOM was very strange, especially after wasting that glorius chance right at the end. Its good to have competition for places. I think Proctor is better at right back than in the centre of defence, and is worthy of a decent run there at Ross's expense.
  17. Poor game IMO, which we were unlucky not to get a point out of. If anything, we shaded the second half despite Rangers goal and chalked off one. It always hurts more when there is a late winner to beat us, especially against OF.
  18. Yes, I noticed that. I ducked out at ?13.50. Had it been Alex Main's book about Caley however, which I don't have, I would have gone a fair bit higher!

I always had a bit of time for Morgan too. I don't see his comments as anything other than slightly naive. Just the usual posturing of a new player trying to make his mark with his new club's fans. Some of what he said is true. At the moment Killie are a bigger club than us in terms of ground, crowd, wages, history. But in terms of performance, we certainly have their measure this year.
  20. With Rangers having had their last 3 games postponed, maybe they'll be short of match practice! Although, I think they're playing Gretna during this week, which unfortunately might hone them up quite nicely. Still, we've done it before...
  21. Didn't Stokes score a hat trick against us when he was at Falkirk?
  22. Yes, good luck to him, after this week end! Personally, I never understood quite why he was so revered, but what do I know?
  23. Fair play to you, Proctor, for apologising.
