  1. Cheap shot! Uncalled for IMO
  2. He scored one or two important goals against ICT in his time, the bar steward. Good player.
  3. I treasure my copy, and often browse though it. Out of curiosity, I just searched for it on Amazon.co.uk. There's one used copy at ?75!. I think I'll now wrap my copy in cotton wool.
  4. Agree with that.... Especially pleased for Marius who took a lot of stick from many on here.. (myself included!) Looks to have finally found his feet now, and hopefully will be with us for at least the rest of the season... :022: Agree with all that. I'm especially pleased for Marius whose hard work often goes unnoticed by some!
  5. I agree with this sentiment. We should try to keep him. Cowie/Rankin/Black is becoming a very strong midfield. Shame to break it up for a mere ?100K
  6. I'd rather have Souness than Burns anyday. Burns was utter phish when at Reading a few years back.
  7. Thanks Mantis, I'll see what I can find. If unsuccessful I'll try Leakey's next time I'm in Inverness.
  8. Was there a book published for Caley's centenary, round about the same time? If so, is it obtainable anywhere?
  9. Twyford Comets, under 9s through to under 16s, when my lads played for them. Now Hurst Romans for whom the grandchildren play. Occasionally watch Reading or Wycombe, but not as a real supporter.
  10. Off topic, i know, but Caff scores for St.J.
  11. I'm with you Scotty, I'd like Denzil to get the 1000th , but for Marius to complete his hatrick with no. 1001
  12. Not only scoring regularly, but winning penalties too!. Is that 3 in last 4 games now?
  13. Going off at a slight tangent, I'm surprised the Motherwell v Celtic game has been called off. In my book, what better tribute could there have been than for these two clubs, for whom Phil played most of his football, to jointly remember him and celebrate his career . Re the minute's silence re applause issue, I'm for the silence.
  14. I think these statistics are about right. I've always thought that a keeper has a better chance if he doesn't dive to one side. I'm surprised goalkeeping coaches don't drum this into keepers.
  15. Totally agree. Let him regain his form in the reserves for a while, but booting him out is way over the top. He has been a great servant
  16. I'd like to add my condolences as well. Thoughts go out especially to his family, but also to Well supporters, for their great seson to be marred in this tragic way.

Me too. Just unbelievable! Especially whoever said we were lucky to beat Hibs (a game I was able to get to). We dominated the first half of that game, and the final 10 minutes. Unlucky to score only 2 goals. You don't get 5 wins out of 5 by luck alone. I don't hear anyone saying we were unlucky to lose the previous 5!
  18. My feelings exactly. Any more would be a real bonus
  19. I didn't see today's game. But I did see last week's on Setanta and the week before's (Hibs) live. Niculae was good, or better, in both. I've only seen him once away from home this season, and thought he did an OK job. I'm not trying to wind you up, so can you explain to me, as someone who sees ICT more than I, why it is you think Nickulae is cr*p away from home. I've not seen him enough to make that judgement, but it seems stange that any player, let alone a foeigner, should only seem to perform at his best at home. I get the impression from the many posts you've written on him, that you've always seen him as an expensive luxury.
  20. Don't know when the cut off point is, but if it goes as far as 26th, Manager of Month must now be a straight fight between Brew and Yogi.
  21. Ya beauty! That was some last 5 mins!
  22. I would think so. So that would be 3 out. How many in? McGuire's loan made permanent, I expect and one other good one I hope.
