  1. That's the English and Scottish teams out of the Europa League....Liverpool, Man C and Rangers all out.

  6. "Talk p!ss"??... Talked and get p!ssed I think you mean. Ahhh... memories! Great days indeed. We even had an agenda and minutes of each meeting...couldn't read them mind! Go for it Perth.
  7. Most of the time that I was standing up was because the guy in front of me was standing up.I'm certainly not going to pay ?20 to sit down and look at the back of jacket...I can do that at home for nothing and not spend most of the day traveling to do it either. Stewards do get dog abuse from some fans but they shouldn't react the way they did. Those kinds of actions can cause trouble. When taking on a job like you have to be very thick skinned indeed and if you aren't you shouldn't be in the job.
  8. Apart from the very dodgy penalty this was a fair game with a fair result. I must admit I was full of dread for our defence with Rossco and Granty missing and so it turned out. Proctor is a nightmare at the back and Innes wasn't far behind. Saints 2nd was the best goal of the game and I though we'd fall apart after that but the lads dug in and turned it around. All in all an entertaining game spoilt only by a steward who couldn't handle the pressure / banter and dived into the away support in an attempt to eject the culprit. I'd like to see him do that when the old firm visit. His actions could have caused a serious problem. And they wonder why fans stay away from football these days.
  9. I hope our semi-final tie isn't on a Sunday...
  10. Not Women's Hour then...
  11. On dry trains you cannot consume or carry alcohol on board. Some trains are declared dry under the railway byelaws and where this happens, notices are put up in advance to warn passengers. These notices should be displayed at stations along the route at least two days prior to the banned date.

The 100 mile post was crossed on the 19th and I've recorded 167 in total for January. In comparison to last year that is 33 miles fewer. All in all am feeling fit and enjoying the training. :walking:
  20. I hope the team will have a home fixture on that day otherwise it will be a long wait for dinner...
  21. I think its a damn disgrace that the EPL should be dictating what players a manager chooses for the team. They all play for that team so what's the problem? And it makes it even worse that Blackpool almost beat the Vile....erm...I mean the Villa with a, so called, weakened team.
  22. Gringo replied to tm4tj's topic in Caley Thistle
There's a clich? that 'one player doesn't make a team' but I feel in our case it could be a fact that it does. We haven't won a league match since Johnny Hayes got injured and we struggled to beat a third division side in the cup without him. We definitely need pacey striker with an eye for goal or even another 'in form' Wyness, Bingham, Richie or Stewart. For me Foran hasn't hit the net often enough and Rooney seems dependant on service rather than him creating things for himself in the box.
  23. :clapping: But we know that won't happen because its Celtic :irritated: And I will chip in to the TB fund as well.
  24. Why, and how the hell can you possibly lose 5-0 against Wolves?? Useless, completely and utterly useless.
