  1. No we haven't. We've moved up 28 places to 35th. http://www.fifa.com/worldranking/rankingtable/index.html

  3. At least they'll be able to see the bus before it knocks them down
  4. Dont know how many he's taken but Alan Shearer scored 58 penalties in his career.
  5. Be3cause these tend to be charter buses and need to be full to make them viable then I suspect concessions won't apply.

  7. Doesn't sound like you'll be out of pocket by much Alex........ Tell you what, I'll take you up on Spartans, Montrose, Gala, Queens and Wick, I.e. if you're correct then I'll pay the fivers instead. I'll add Stirling too in a case of heart ruling the head. As things stand at the moment I've 4 wrong - Spartans, Formartine, Gala, Wick. £20 down so far. Add to that Edinburgh City and Linlithgow. £30 heading to Charlie.
  8. Rumour has it he belongs to a St J staff person.
  9. Not exactly byes -- the format allows that they dont actually enter the comp till fourth round.

  11. Maybe so, but out of Birmingham's last 5 matches (including Capital One cup), Shinnie has started in only 2, and been on the field for less than 1 hour in each of them. In the other 3 games he has been an unused sub in 2 of them, and got on for 7 mins in the other. Not exactly what you'd expect if he is to make a first team berth his own, is it? Nevertheless, I still hope I see him on the field at least some of the time tomorrow. 28 Sep not used away to Reading 25 Sep 8 mins home to Swansea 21 Sep not used home to Sheff Wed 17 sep not used away to Burnley 14 Sep 55 mins away to QPR 31 Aug 58 mins home to Ipswich 27 Aug 87 mins away Yeovil (scored) Not sure if thats cos Shinnies down the pecking order or if Birmingham are struggling to find the right combination at the minute. there results have been a bit erratic of late.
  12. The cynic in me says the draw will be ICT v Aberdeen, Hearts v Hibs, St Johnstone v Dundee U and Morton v Motherwell. North derby, Edinburgh derby, Tayside derby and Weegielandish derby
  13. I thought it was this round that was seeded. Draw has ICT, Aberdeen, Morton, Dundee U, Hibs, Hearts, Motherwell and St Johnstone. I'd fear every one of those but a home tie against Aberdeen could be ok.
  14. Cost to buy players £0 Cost of wages £10 Cost of being top of the league FECKIN PRICELESS
  15. How was Hearts dealt with differently? Hearts went into administration and were deducted 15 points. Rangers went into administration and recieved the same fate. But then Rangers got liquidated. If Hearts are liquidated I expect them to recieve the same treatment.
  16. Do you mean this story? Premier League.doc
  17. Trivia - Terry Butcher is third equal with Ross Jack as longest serving managers in SPFL. Gardner Speirs tops the list with Dick Campbell second.
  18. Looking at whats on the table from the lower leagues I wouldnt be thinking of getting to final or even winning a trophy till it happens. All the so called lower teams are Championship and formidable opponents in cup games. It could also turn out that the last eight are SPL + Morton and the run in after the quarters will be tough. Think our best chance is for a home tie against whoever next round.
  19. Imrie Celtic 0 - 1 Morton
  20. The CURSE!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Brill's contract at Luton ends July 2014 so I expect the loan deal to end in january and he becomes a permanent fixture at TCS.
  22. Sorry Alex your fired. I know for a fact that some people find excuses to avoid doing anything, I have lost count of the excuses heard for not going, why not start by telling people why you enjoy going to the games. I take on board all the points made but the very subject of falling crowds came up recently in the company of friends I used to go to Brockville with. A couple of those people stopped going when they had children for the reasons I mention. Guys that would chant the same and probably more vile slogans at games who have grown up a bit and are trying to take responsibility in the education of their kids. Yes you'll hear it in the playground. Why? In my day we'd get belted for it. Even today, though its become an acceptable form of speech, I censor myself in the company of women and children. Thats not to say I wont hurl a few choice expletives at a match. The guys I mention are not making excuses. These are staunch Falkirk fans that are very likely to return to the games when their kids are of age to do their own thing. But for now they choose not to subject the children to football profanities. Personally I only have respect for their stance on this.
  23. I'm going to be bold and suggest Spartans, Auchinleck, Berwick R, Cove, Annan A, Montrose, The Rose, Shire, Edinburgh C, Formartine, Gala F, Elgin, Coulter, Queens Park, Stirling A, Wick. For each one I get wrong I'll pledge £5 to ICT Youth. So anyone else up for a bit of fun then. Money where your mouth is and all that.
  24. Aye but you may then get there and find yourself and your young impressionable family being subjected to songs and chants containing words that you dont want your young family to hear. or chants referring to sexual acts being performed by certain players. I say that because I know for a fact there are people who wont go to games because of what they hear from the stands.
  25. Sadly not but I hope all who do go get right behind the team for full ninety and stick it right up those who think the sheepsh**ers will be vying for second this season.
