There's a few more pre merger

Iain Stewart was a strange one. Took Peterhead to within a minute of promotion to the second tier for the only time in their history in a play off final against Partick Thistle. Had them playing exciting and attractive football yet was sacked and then fell off the radar.

He is now a rather large taxi driver in Aberdeen. Always a legend here though.

Indeed a class player and remember that tv goal photo - now that should be an emoji. What we could achieve with a player like him today. Damn pity  if his association with football has ended unless of course he enjoys driving and chatting to strangers.

Maybe only 5% go into management and the rest Brorra, Tulloch, Orion

I've looked at some of our overseas players and a lot of them are still pretty young.

There's probably more pre merger than post.

As for Chris Hogg it didn't mention leagues or level of play.

Many years ago, a young lad called David Macrae was on the youth training programme, but got an odd game with the first team just before ICT were promoted to the SPL first time around. He married and he and his family are now living in Queensland , Australia where he coaches the Noosa Lions. I think they may only be a kids team, but can't deny the boy has gone far in distance terms.

Anybody have the update on Chris Hogg.? Has he fully recovered?

In January 2014 (6 months after he left us) he announced his retirement - not because of injury, but because he didn't want to relocate his family again and couldn't get a club near where they wanted to live. Shortly after, he joined Needham Market who were splashing the cash in the regional Rymans/Isthmian league. After 18 months there he left to do coaching at the Ipswich Academy.  He is married to George Burley's daughter.
