The Shoe Protest

...........for anyone at the game today you would have most probably noticed the shoe protest....... priceless. If anyone has caught it on video they should look at sending it into Soccer AM explaining what it is all about - give our plight massive exposure.

Pure genius!!

I would imagine this is one protest that Grassa and Sutherland will not be complaining about

How you can make a statement like that about a wee laddie is beyond my ken!!

For Heavens sake grow up and realise that he, his parents, grannie etc may read this.

It would appear from your contribution that there is no doubt that you are the sharpest tool in the toolshed!!

Aye, Right!!

I don't know if my reply was considered personal abuse BUT if it was, I can only state it could have been much worse, believe me!

How anyone can make that sort of statement, on here, beggers belief!

What has the wee boy done to deserve that? Be his Dad's son? Go to the match and fit in with the other supporters? Be young? Naive?

Leave him alone - this is no better than playground bullying. Calling a wee fellow names!!

I agree it was probably no more than a young lad joining in with his mates, hopefully he is revelling in his new found fame at school today, I doubt that will be the case at home though oops!

I hope he is getting asked to autograph the picture of himself :018:

I bet he's got it on his bedroom wall to torment his father too. :thumb04:

Naughty boy. :rotflmao:

Can anyone tell me where this shoe thing originates from?? I was at The Riverside for the FA cup match between Barrow AFC V Middlesborough on the 3rd of this month and the Barrow fans did a marvellous rendition of 'shoes off if you love Barrow' whilst waving their shoes in the air.

Looked quite smart, but I hope it doesn't continue in the summer cos some people's feet aren't so nice smelling

I think young Bennett should be congratulated for having his own mind.

Did i not suggest this type of protest months ago and get told off as it was too political etc. Seemed to work.

May i suggest we all look at this example -have a look at my size 10

It seemed to get this mans point across fairly effectively.

All I ask is why has no one tried it yet?

Think this is a different level of protest and rather than the club we love, a totally different matter and best on another thread

And here is my proof. Does this mean in some way i contributed to getting a man sacked. Im quite proud of myself.

And before people start slating me about it being a mans livelyhood etc i really dont care. He wasnt up to the task and like any walk of life, was shown the door and rightly so. If i worked with someone who made it hard to do my job and my life miserable i'd like to be shot of them. Survival of the fittest and all that (well maybe not in Brews case eh :rotflmao: )
