I had a good view of the tackle. So did the referee. McManus at times is positively dangerous the way he cuts across players or hits them from behind.

Which post you say Caley D-?

-oh ...that one away back. Helps if you notice that there is a 4th continuance of the thread Sm,ile.

DalneighCaley.....remind me of the last time we beat Celtic. How many men did we have on the park at the end of the game? Proof positive that getting a man sent off does not mean instant defeat...no???

Lionel Djebi-Zadi is the daddy! He was an absolute colossus today! Must have won about 95% of all the challenges he went in for. He should definatly be given a longer run out at left back after this performance. I couldn't believe he wasn't given man of the match, although Imrie and Foran were also immense.

Blackie let the team down and should have been sent off for a disgraceful lunge on MacDonald. The sooner he leaves the better.

The one about set pieces that DalneighCaley seems to be totally ignoring?

Hastings will need to work even harder in training after a great game by Lionel

Great interview from TB as well. Funny and passionate about the cause. Well done all.
iam sure tel,s a wino,he must of mentioned red wine and champagne at least 5-6 times in the interview

Lionel Djebi-Zadi is the daddy!.

Now that is positive thinking, the lad give it his all today and I respect him for that, but the daddy I think not and I for one will be happy to have back a regular at left back

OK your baiting of me has worked CaleyD , our set pieces failed to produce any threat to Celtcs goal today in fact I saw no improvement whatsoever but you obviously did , please accept my sincere apologies for having a different opinion to you .

What an awful advert for Scottish football . Thought we'd been practicing set pieces this week ? I didn't see any evidence today .

I might have guessed we'd get someone complaining on here , are you ever satisfied Dalneigh ?

The team played really well today, they looked like they were interested & battled till the very end

I'm delighted we got a point considering we're bottom & theyre top

Well done ICT a great start for our new Manager :thumb04: :018: :rotflmao:

Do me a favour and read my posts before you attempt to have a go at me , not once have I said we would have definitely got beat if we had a man sent off .

You honestly thought that was a good advert for Scottish football ? Jeez .

The team had a bit of fight about them today which was great to see. After so many defeats on the run, a point against the league leaders (regardless of how 'tired' they were) is a great stepping stone for us on the road to recovery. Hopefully it will get everyone feeling positive.

Great stuff from the lads. Zadi looked excellent, Pavels is a rock - we finally looked solid at the back.

Black's tackle on McDonald was a shocker but I enjoyed it.

Apology accepted....but I would like to point out that our second best chance of the game came from a set piece where Majicks header at the back post was only just kept out by a decent save from Boruc.....I would class that as threatening.

To be fair to DC, I thought Blackies challenge was shocking too, and honestly thought it was going to be red.

Glad to see some fight and confidence instilled back in the team. As for good football who cares not me as long as we stay up. Zadi was awesome as were the whole team but are you sure that was the same Zadi as against Partick?

Think it's an "in" joke. Did Butcher not do some kind of wine review thing for a newspaper or something in the not too distant past?

With so much negativity over the past few weeks , i dont care if you think todays game was a bad advert for Scottish football , the main thing for me was todays fight & team spirit it was really very encouraging ;) & for the first time in ages i enjoyed the game

To be fair to DC, I thought Blackies challenge was shocking too, and honestly thought it was going to ba red.

That's fair enough and don't think anyone is arguing that point. What people are arguing about is that DC seems to think Black should be carted off to the cells on some kind of assault charge and for possibly losing us a point if he had perhaps been sent off.

The tackle was hard and a bit late, but he never got red carded and we never lost the game....so it's pointless trying to take the discussion down that path IMO.

I think DC maybe just has a wee soft spot for Celtic and isn't best pleased his "big" team only managed to hold ICT to a draw today :rotflmao:

he did mention before he got ict job he used to spend hrs studying wine in the local supermarket! fine by me if he gets the team playing as well as today every week

a lot of players play well with a few words of confidence, maybe zadi hasnt had the right manager before and tel knows how to get him playing better!

Lets hope so. Also lets hope Tel doesn't follow pele with alcohol.
