Steven Pressley Appeal Decision

Featured Replies

Thank goodness for that. I was worried he might win his appeal.

I didn't it was a bookable offence as i have seen this sort of incident before and no action was taken.

But suppose it's good news for caley!

He's a good player and good at organizing the defence!

aye!

same here!!

Disaster for Caley - he was the weak link against St Mirren. His replacement will want to secure a Cup Final place. He may be a cheat but our players were due to gain again at his expense. How could the SFA do this to us?

It may not make an effect!

Its one of those times when the two sides balance out!

I think Yogi will play Pressley in the final he would rather have some exp defenders on against Rangers

He's been excellent against us in the 2 games I've been at this season so glad he's out but Aafjes is also a cracking player so doesn't make a massive difference to their team

means he cant cheat to get his own way im glad hes oot

I think a fair few of the Falkirk fans are glad he is out. No real loss to them.

More of a psychological blow for falkirk than a football one. Yogi is deflated enough already, as are the players, and this is another piece of bad news for them. Plus, we are staying out of the limelight while falkirk are sweating it out in the headlines.

Hes a dirty player but a clever one too he makes it difficult for the officials, it may have been his head but the intent was probably there to head but and thats why the red stays, his head went in and stayed, it didn't rebound back as if accidental.

He may have played his last game for Falkirk as I'm pretty sure he's baned for the cup final too.

I'm glad he isn't playing, yet another psychological monkey on Falkirks back.

IMO the incident was a clash of heads and never a red card!

Nevertheless I'm delighted; he is a great source of defensive experience and I really fancy our chances of running at a weakened defence! He has been good in the most recent games against us so I think he will be sorely missed!!!

Elvis being out is a god send, hes been murder for weeks.

Instead, we will play the young, fit and much better passer in Gerard Aafjes.

no matter who you play you're going down :D :D

Ooh the banter :P

You are the nicest Bairn i know

...until Saturday at about 3 o clock :D

Ceske will be a nice bairn at three as far as I'm concerned. Between twelve thirty and two fifteen is a different matter though

If Bougherra didn't get his overturned theres no way Pressley would get his.

Bougherra's red card is likely to be overturned

I heard that too.... and that was a nasty challenge.

Good to hear Pressely is not playing. I do not like him he gets away with murder and thats what makes him appear a better player than he is so it is a bonus that he won't be there.

Still got a pretty good defence Bullen, Barr, McNamara and Scobbie

:D :015: bullen and mcnamara average footballers at best, and both are waaaaay past their best.

Barr, decent and scobbie is alright.

Then again i don't think they could cope with morais and foran up front. Pace, power, height, strength in the air, flair, passion and finishing all in one strikeforce.
