Raith Rovers Vs. Dundee

We are in the excellent position this evening where if Dundee do not win we will "officially" be crowned champions, while a win for Dundee will merely postpone the inevitable until (hopefully) Saturday at Ayr!

What is everyone hoping for this evening? Anyone desperate for the title to be clinched ASAP, or are there others who want the league to be won at Ayr so that we have a chance to REALLY celebrate with the team as the title is won?!

A somewhat pointless question as regardless we will be champions, but just curious at to what everyone else is thinking tonight?

'Mon the Dee (for one night only!)!!

I suppose if we win the title tonight, it'd mean the likes of Nick Ross, Gavin Morrison (who's just returned from a loan spell with Elgin City) and Kyle Allison could get some game time...

didnt think about that. good shout

I'm sure Ayr would relish that scenario but what about the others at the bottom of the league? To be fair we should field our strongest team whether we need to or not, it's not like they are needing rested for another competition is it? Also it could be the last chance to see some of them run out.

Cant believe near 40% of ICT fans dont want the league signed sealed and delivered. WHY??????

I love it, we're a big club. We owe it to the smaller clubs to try our hardest.

It's not that I dont want to win the league; the league is all but sealed unless Dundee overcome an enormous goal difference without their top scorer!

I would rather be there with the players and the fans at the point where we win the league; surely that is not so ridiculous?! Not that winning the league tonight will take anything away from Saturday really, I just want to celebrate it AS it happens as part of the ICT support!

But honestly, I am just delighted we are in a position to choose our own preference!

What if Dundee win 9-0? :004:

Had a bet on with a Dundee fan at work ages ago that we would win the league. He's coughed up the cash already...

Gonna have to wait a bit longer. Kick off delayed till at least 8pm as Dundee team bus has broken down in Raith car park and polis holding up kick off as it is blocking a safety exit.

I want us to win it by as big a margin as possible. just to get it right up them at Dens

Tomorrow never comes so we need it in the bag as soon as possible.

A draw tonight would be fine but Raith appear to be struggling player wise so Dundee have a chance to start going for broke. If Dundee win and Ayr produce a top class performance while Dundee entertain an even weaker Raith things could hot up.

Dundee v Raith kick off delayed until 8pm, problem with Dundee bus apparently

Best get it over and done with. I agree with libero sooner the better and start getting contracts sorted for next season and making sure foran goes no where.

Going to move this thread to non-ict since we now have a "match thread".
