My dad just phoned to say MFR have just announced that the Orion Group are the new ICT sponsors and have signed a new 2 year deal with the club but he can't remember how much they said the deal was worth

They have an article about it on the website... same stuff as mentioned in P&J ... 6 figure sum :)

The Orion Logo is going to be a pain in the butt to add to the strips, IMO.

Companies can be quite precious about how they layout/use their logos, however, if they are willing to break the mould slightly then it could be made to fit quite nicely.

Seems to suggest that relations between messers Savage and Sutherland might not be a poor as might once have been the case.

Get the inference from the press release that the deal might not be just as lucrative as the recent Flybe sponsorship but very welcome news nontheless.

At least that is the Marius monies sorted out - up front not as lucrative but behind the scenes
