Barcelona like coming to scotland

I'm guessing it won't be Dinamo Bucharest.

As for the holiday to Blackpool, I don't think we'd be attractive opposition for the local team now they are Premiership, but there are plenty of other teams in the North-West. Preston, Morecambe, Chorley, maybe even Burnley again?

I'm Away To Blackpool Then :( You Have To Be Joking Me

The U19/Youth are playing Elgin and Strathspey the same night? Surely the main team will be v elgin

took it from the Courier article and it suggests youth teams are playing both

"With Caley Thistle re-establishing their under-19 side for next season there is also the need for their younger players to play games and they will get the opportunity on Wednesday 21st July with the Highland Capital club set to send a squad to Borough Briggs for a match against Elgin City, while another will face Strathspey Thistle."

probably more likely that each squad will be a mixture of first teamers and reserves/youths.

Hoping they play Morecambe...i will possibly be down in that part of Lancashire while ICT are there.

No mention of a trip over the bridge yet......

There was a typo, we are actually sending our Under 9's to face Strathspey.

ha ha ha

These are the games I'll make for definites. Might make the trip down to Blackpool if we get a friendly lined up there as well.

Will our highly popular film crew be travelling to any of the away games?

Unirea?

If so i believe we will put up a better fight than Rangers did in Europe :) :P

Does anyone know of any foreign sides coming to Scotland for the pre-season? From what I read from it, it won't be an English team either. The use of "European" has more continental connotations.

An early indication of who we might be playing down south. :)

Ohhh, nice detective work DJS victory.gif

(Being old-school, when I saw the reference to 'Highbury' my first thought was the game was to be played in North London mocking.gif )

Sounds like a couple of days at the seaside are in order. Works in great with school holidays down here.

Seems like a good idea for a day out. I wonder where we'll be in Lancs. Fancy a beer or six 'dude?

That sounds like a plan!! Where ever we play down here, I'm sure we will try and get there, and drink will be taken.

Going to miss the first two games. Heading to Stornoway that week

Fleetwood Town.. Really? Conference North turned Premier, thought we might be a wee bit more adventurous with the level of team having the likes of Elgin and such lined up.

Bleh, that's cheating. They got nothing on the "quality" of SPL competition. Mind you, friendlies are more so for getting 'match fit' again.. Och well, we'll see.
