  • When we got the teamsheets in the bar pre-match there was some discussion about whether we would go with two up front, Foran and McKay. It turned out that we stuck with the 4-2-3-1 that we have used s

  • In fact, after 120 minutes and 7 penalties, the decisive moment came when Esson made his first save of the entire night. We might not have been great, but there was only ever one team going to win thi

  • Not strictly ICT related, but as the Matchday Thread encompasses all games from a particular day, and there is a link to an ICT supporter, I just have to mention it and give a big shoutout to Luvgravy

I had hoped to make the game but finished work too late and was staying too far away, so am looking forward to the next game and the players passed the big balls challenge in the shootout, so I hope they take the big balls belief into the next match in front of goal and Forans attempt was only 2" away from scoring.

A wins a win so well done for getting through to the next round.

I was there

Plus Points -

  • Esson saves the day again.
  • Foran played well.
  • Roberts looks promising.
  • Warren solid once more.

Negative Points -

  • Poor game - poor conditions - poor performance.
  • Raven doesn't do it for me I'm afraid.
  • Andrew Shinnie's gone back to the player he was when he first arrived.
  • Doran is off form.

One paper had Doran M.O.M. ! Agree about A Shinnie, he didnt look interested at Hibs, Raven will no doubt be played till we have king/Hogg back in the middle or unless he gives the young guy Cooper a run.

They need time to decide whether to give us Newco or Celtic and whether we are better home or away.

Not that I am saying they would fix anything just that I heard they were playing about with identifiable types of dust

Wonder if it's still seeded at this stage?

If it is, we get Celtic, Yenitit, Hearts or Perth Saints.

Its not seeded this time

Isn't Cooper injured?

Fit enough to be on the subs bench at Stenny! he looked quite a good prospect pre-season.

Take you and I out, move d to the front and what have you got:-

Dolt  there were some sharp and clever people on this thread

They've just announced that they will be keeping their balls under wraps until Thursday 4th October at 1.30pm.

Ties to be played 30/31 October.

...at Dumbarton! Clearly the obvious venue.

Well after eventually deciding that they should hold a 4th round draw, and then deciding upon a date and venue, the SFL have now decided NOT to hold it at Dumbarton after all, and it will be at Hampden. This is the sort of decisive leadership Scottish football needs.

most of them wouldn't know where to find Dumbarton. Its nowhere near enough to Parkheid or Ibrokes.
