Referee for Friday

Iain Brines.

quote from his SFA site profile:

If you could referee a match between any two teams and at any venue, which teams and where?

The Highland derby being back looks good (have been an assistant once) and the Dundee derby would complete the set for me.

Coincidence or what?

Not good. Not good at all. I wonder if he'll even leave the centre circle.

Feck it their all shyte anyway. Who gives a flying feck who the ref is. At the end of the day their all just wallys with whistles

The ref's a Fanny..... just getting it in early...

We are all Terry Butcher!!!!

One of the theories about referees is that we are an inconvenience, due to our northern location. If there is any truth in this theory, then he may be on our side this weekend :-)

Come on people, it could have been Bobby Madden! or Willie Gollum. Both are a fair whack worse than Brines.

Allegedly :tongueincheek:

The last three times he officiated at our games we never lost. 1-1 at Ibrox, 3-0 at home v Motherwell and 2-1 away to Hamilton. He even gave a penalty in the Hamilton one.

Didn't he make an international c*ck-up and lose his FIFA badge?

Och we can beat the Ref too! :notworthy: ..........Good evening Mr. Brines, It is a priveledge to have you conduct our Highland Derby. Please excuse our enthusiasm if we dont tackle too gently and we dont mind if you show your cards to our honourable visitors they are our guests and they can accept them as gifts from your good self as tokens of a memorable thrashing at which you kindly officiated.

:notworthy: Thank you Mr Brines enjoy our hospitality our crowd is behind you........................Oh yes it is!!!!!

I think Derbies should be played without a referee.
