Now you're all probably thinking, 'why on earth are we talking about this just now?'...However next season will be our 20th year and I believe the fans should have a say in what the new strip should be like.

The current away shirt was designed after consultation with CJT and from what I've heard the final design was submitted as early as December 2012. This could mean that the club and CJT are already or are about to talk about our new home shirt for next year. So its paramount we get our views in as early as possible!

I created this topic so fans will be able to express what they would like the new shirt to be and so CJT and the club could see the fans views.

Also FC United of Manchester present their members with 4 different shirt designs every couple of seasons. The fans then get to vote for their favourite with the winning shirt being the new home/away shirt. Would the club and CJT be prepared to do this for our special 20th year?

Now, I would normally ask for simple blue and red even and vertical stripes like the 95/96 shirt. NO fancy swooshes or diagonal stripes. NO more blue than red or vice versa, 50% blue and 50% red. However with the current red and black striped away I would be open to an all blue shirt with red/black trim like our 94/95 first strip. Also I would like to see a return to white shorts like we had between 94-97.

  • In light of revealing our new sponsor, a couple of kits I wouldn't mind seeing being made our own. Stupidly simple and in distant hope that Subway were to use their logo minus the slogan, I'de be more

Undecided. Would have preferred not to have had the white and just had a whole red block. Bit to Rangers esq with then white.

I was thinking the same tbh.

Agreed. Not quite as bad as the last one but another top that is more redolent of Rangers than ourselves. Replacing that white stripe with a black one would have made all the difference.

With the most recent pic on Instagram/Twitter, it appears that there is a zip/button at the neckline to open it up a bit

Good to see the sponsor's logo doesn't spoil the design.

Reminds me of a couple of Carlisle Utd strips from years back

Now that I've seen it worn it looks good.

A bit of technology has gone in to it aswell.

It contains special team beating ingredients including titanium and has magical healing properties, So if you stub your toe put the shirt on and it heals in no time, lol.

I also like the new colours banner design.

A black stripe rather than white would have been big improvement but it's certainly a big improvement on last seasons.

Can't we just please have red and blue stripes?  Please.  The vast majority are in agreement over this.

I love the plain black keepers top tho.  Does anyone know if this will be for sale?  Considering it's plain black with the grey collar I reckon I may invest in one of these.

I think the kids will love this shirt tho so that's a good thing.

It looks fine, the logo doesn't look out of place but not enough stripes for me . OK, I'm an old Caley man so I like blue but I think it's now time to have a bold red and black stripe shirt, black shorts and black socks as our away strip.

I dig the hooped socks!! I dig them very much :)

Still undecided on the shirt tbh. I was thinking a solid red line would have been better. The white makes it very like Rangers sadly and a black line would have been alot better imo.

Still would have preffered stripes, hoops or halves tbh as this really looks like a generic Rangers style shirt!!

I did fear that the club were going down the route of all blue home shirt and black/red away.

Really dont know what to say. The template is nice but would have preffered stripes and i dont think im the only one! I love the socks, as to me thats the only proper ICT part of the strip.

Edit - Just wana say the subway logo isnt to bad after all hahaha humple pie for me ;)

At first I simply thought "oh dear".....

but having seen t on Meekings and Shinnie the blue looks slightly darker than this seasons and I really like it.

And the stripes are awesome!

Think its a cracking strip to be honest, never been a fan of any strip apart from Blue and red stripe until this one.

I agree with that.

On second thoughts, an away strip in the same style replacing the blue with black and a solid red stripe would look pretty good.

Why is the shirt dearer?

Giving us a shirt we dont want, then charging us more? Fan exploitation at its finest...

And u wonder why people of Inverness want nothing to do with ICT.

Football is going down the sh1tter

Those (like me) hoping for stripes may be disappointed. It's blue but very diifferent.

P.S

The sponsors logo (with the "eat fresh") looks good on the shirt.

As I said people may be dissapointed by the lack of stripes but I have to say after initial doubts I've grown to like it. Now if the sizing is better I will be giving my £40.50 to the shop later today.
