Pre-season friendlies

Ok it's that time of the year again when the season is drawing to a close we have to endure a long 3 months till the new season starts again apart from the pre season friendlies.

So who does everyone want in pre-season we already have Elgin confirmed on the 12th of July through there. Of course we will probably have the typical Clach and other Highland League friendlies but who else could we get and can we get any "glamour" friendlies at home.

Am I being cynical in assuming that the 1pm kick-off time in Fort William is so the locals can get the football 'out of the way' before their beloved shinty starts?!

The Sunday home game v Fleetwood is a 2.30pm kick-off.

Anybody have any idea of gate prices for Elgin next Saturday?

99% sure I read £10 adult, £5 concession.

Looking forward to the forres game! Always a decent scoring game and will mean a quick hop, skip and jump to the mosset after the match to watch the netherlands SF match!

I'm heading to the Mosset post match to catch the semi final if anyone else is keen.

I'd have thought the team would be wanting to watch it too rather than travel back to Ness too!

Anyone posting updates from Mosset Park this evening ?

Anyone got a link to todays game /

I've a pal at the game who told me he'd text updates - so far - one text! Half time 0-0.

Thanks Sneckboy, Had to rush down town, came back and found information on ictfc official twitter 0-0 it is

ICT dominated the first half but could not put the chances away......same old story unfortunately

Esson on at half time and brought off a great save from a close range shot

Alan Preston on radio Scotland said he nearly fell asleep in the first half. Hope 2nd half better..

Have to say that was a pretty average performance in my eyes today. Considering the possession we had 1-0 was poor. I will give them the fact that it did feel as though Raith were playing a 8-1-1 formation at times with every man and his dug sitting in the back. Some good flashes of style today, not totally sold on the tika taka but there was moments of it working, however no one could cross a ball to save themselves. Christie played great and was one of the few actually driving at the defence. Other mentions have to go to Doran and Raven and Shinnie both doing a great job bombing down the line. For anyone that was at the Elgin game overall it was very similar. Will be interesting to see what its like when we come up against a stronger opposition, namely birmingham in august. If we can keep the ball retention up, keep the tight passing and improve the conversion rate I think we are in for another great season.
