I see that Dougie Imrie has signed for Hamilton Accies. Has he still 'got it' for the top-flight? He's just endured a depressing season with a very poor Morton side. What I'm really surprised about is that he's only 30 - I always thought he'd come into senior football at a relatively late age, being snapped up from the juniors - he seems to have been around for ever!

 

Reluctant to wish him too much luck as he's obviously going to be in direct opposition to us next season!

Was trying to think which other former players have done jail time. Riccardo Calder is the only one I can think of, given 9 months for assaulting a woman in a car park - the incident happened while he was with us and we terminated his contract when he was found guilty.

Since getting out in 2019 he has had 7 clubs, mostly National League, the latest of which is Brackley Town.

Sad to Hear Dougie Imrie's Baby daughter passed away, at only 20 days old. Sounds like the odds were stacked massively against her. Poor wee toot.
Thoughts are with Dougie and all his loved ones, at this very sad time.

Sutton United are playing Carlisle United tomorrow- Cameron Harper should be in Carlisles team, I shall be at the match, might get a chance to wish him well. Carlisle are in third place whilst Sutton are already languishing in a relegation spot, may be a tough match for Sutton. Carlisle play in Red, Blue and White stripes...so wearing a Caley shirt in his honour probably not on 🤪

He did play, but Carlisle were outplayed and defeated by a Sutton side playing some of their best football I've seen in a while!

Think his long haired teammate (29) was a striker at Motherwell last season.

Just been reported that Iraola is leaving Bournemouth in the summer for Athletic Bilbao. Possibly affects the career of Ryan Christie who has really thrived there.

I was at the Partick game last night. 3 goals scored by ex Caley players. Gilmour, Samuel and Chalmers. I was also sat behind Daniel Mackay who’s been injured for almost 2 years and only made a handful of minutes for them. He didn’t even look up from his phone when Partick scored.
