Correcting the auto predict spelling mistake.

I am looking forward to this one which will be tough as you say Robert but I hope it will be a bit like the Partick game with a good win for us to keep us at the top of the league.

After dropping our first points of the season last weekend to bottom club Dunfermline, seventh place Queen of the South come calling on Saturday to the Caledonian Stadium, the game kicking off at 3:00pm.

We had Mark Ridgers to thank for earning us a point at East End Park as he pulled off two tremendous saves late in the game to deny the Pars their first win of the season. The draw was sufficient to keep Inverness top of the table but Kilmarnock and Arbroath gained some ground at the top end whilst the Pars stay rooted to the foot of the Championship.

Queens went down 2-0 at home to Arbroath as their indifferent start to the season continues, beating Raith away one week, losing at home to Arbroath the next. It would appear that their away form suits them better than playing at Palmerston at the moment.

Latest Team News

Michael Gardyne has missed the last couple of games and Aaron Doran and Shane Sutherland were injured at East End Park. This could open the door for Cameron Harper and Billy Mckay for a start and maybe Lewis Jamieson will be pushing for some game time.

Allan Johnston was disappointed with the result last week and despite plenty of possession and opportunities he felt they failed to make the most of their opportunities. Defensive lapses costing the Doonhamers and not clinical enough in front of goal.

Pleasing to see that Kilmarnock could not emulate us and win at Gayfield.

Even more incentive to win tomorrow and restore our three point advantage over the team that must still be most people's favourites for the title.

Great stuff. Decent game but Arbroath showed Killie are no world beaters.

As did we a few weeks before. All to play for in this title race and we are right in the mix.

The best placed we have been since relagation, very probably on with our lowest player budget since then.

We need a good noisy crowd tomorrow to help the team get a few goals and back on top.

There is nothing quite like the buzz of a Saturday morning when there is football to go to.

Especially when the team is on such a rich run of form.

I have to concede that I had to swally a double voddie before yet another Doddsie was downed in celebration. Also assisted by the fact that an ex Dungwall hero scored our winner BUT was anybody else sickened as the news that a Dingwall goal was the winner for Hellgin Shittee !!

Pretty dominant first half without creating any clear cut chances, but deservedly ahead after a great free kick by Welsh.

We failed to kick on after the break and it was no great surprise when the equaliser went in, as they had tested us a few times before it. It was a very good finish.

That was the kick up the backside we needed and we got the winner through Gardyne from a long ball by Deas, with Jamieson playing his part by distracting the defence.

However, we need to be more clinical and put teams away when we are on top, and stop making it hard for ourselves.

Pick for me today was Gardyne, closely followed by Welsh.

Good win 😁 thought we were sitting too deep second half inviting queens on to us. They looked like they could get a goal and duly did with a great strike. But again the team rallied and a fine finish by Gardyne; who was the pick today. Happy days- top of the table- lovely jubbly 🤣🤣

No denying that their equaliser was an absolute peach. Was almost tempted to applaud it.
