2025/26 Squad

From the Inverness Courier, it looks like we can offer existing players contract extensions even though we're still in administration.

According to the P&J, Danny Devine is the first to say publicly that he intends to stay.

  • Agree, but it sets a poor precedent and potentially ill feeling with other players. Personally, I sit in the camp that would say that if a player wants to be here, then they need to commit to pro

I would rather either of the Celtic GKs we had to Jack Newman tbh but maybe Charlie Christie, Kells and co will find us another gem or top quality GK 👍.

I'd also like to see Gill come back for a full season loan alongside an experienced keeper, might be too much too soon to chuck Gill in as 1st choice

If it happens, there are just over 7 days until we exit administration. If it happens we will have a glut of players to choose from.

Why? Central belt, twice the size of our club, more money, higher league.

Dunfermline wanted Gilmour in the transfer window but didn't offer enough to sign him then so no surprise he actually signed for them. Not too disappointed in him leaving as he often sat way too deep in games to really influence them.

I hope he does well. Apparently Neil Lennon is being given funds to make an attack on the championship with hopes of getting them back up to the top league. I think there will be many more signings Charlie might not get the game time but hopefully he does. He will be on much better wages All the best Charlie a rock steady performer in the middle of the park

According to CTO

Gilmour made a total of 72 appearances, (3 as a sub) scoring seven times.

Today P&J

Charlie Christie: "Christie confirmed that ICT remain in talks with defender Remi Savage and midfielder Paul Allan, who have both been offered new contracts".

On Jake Davidson: He said: “Jake has been offered a contract, and his agent has come back to me. “We just need to finalise that, and I don’t see a problem...

Alex Samuel anybody ?also Logan  Ross, a goalie, and a local boy, have left County. Thoughts.

Logan Ross was an obvious option and will be well known to the club and have accommodation. However, I would expect us to sign another GK or take in a loanee.

I am hearing we have signed Logan Ross ex Ross County GK

Is this boy any good :-)?  I would probably agree with @CELTIC1CALEY3 though when he said we'd need another experienced GK but would the club be able to run with 3 GK (Experienced GK, Ross and Rebilas?

By the age of 20 he had played for 6 different HL clubs, as well as being on the bench for County and Elgin! Lots of loan deals and emergency loans.

If this rumour is true, do we think he has been signed to be first choice keeper or as a good backup to another more experienced signing still to be made?

The past 4 seasons I have been a regular at Dingwall when ict playing away. I know, don’t shoot the messenger. Any time I have seen Logan he was helping out pre match warm up. Half way line catching practice kick outs from gk or in the small nets warming up the strikers.

he has been on bench last few games to amissah as laidlaw out injured I think.

stats show he has played once for county in a challenge cup game.

AS said in his interview yesterday that our team will be made up of players from our academy, highland league, Scottish players and a couple of MARQUEE players.

so maybe he ticks all the boxes and we will only need one more marquee player.😉

The top HFL players won’t come cheap. Nairn County signed Ben Barron who we released at u18s for 20K! Can we afford transfer fees now?

It was interesting (but not surprising, I suppose) to hear mention of signing HL players. The marquee signings line also caught my attention - it’s about time Ryan came home, before he’s too old to be a first team regular for us.

I'm sure AS can find enough in his back pocket to pay off Ryan's 4-year contract at £2.6M a year. Maybe he'll have to pick up the tab for his groin op too, if Bournemouth have done an Aaron Doran on him.

Would be a real shame to lose Savage and Allen at this point. Hopefully can get some confirmation soon on their contracts.

While losing players is always going to happen, keeping hold of as many of our starting 11 as possible is vital for a strong start to the season

Seen we're linked with a move for Joe Chalmers, experienced pro which will be good for the younger players and always thought he had good set piece delivery. Hopefully not on a crazy high wage either. Saw Nolan was released by United, wonder if he could tempted up?

Also seen Christie had 'promising' discussions with Savage and Allan's agents so hopefully there's a decision either way soon.

Keeping Savage would be a big deal, ditto Allan...just feel they showed so much for us that someone will surely snap them up. Chalmers would work for us in this league, and when I saw Nolan released I had the same thought as you, he started off quite brightly for us, but tailed off a bit, but another season under Scott K and he could develop quite nicely. Replacing the lively Bray, the goals of Bavidge, and Dibiga in goal along with Savage/Allan are all big asks aren't they?
