Weather

How is the weather up there?  There is some of the worst winds and rain I have seen on Glasgow for a long time and am concerned about the game tomorrow.  Is there any news if there is a pitch inspection as the forecast for Inverness looked pretty bad today.

Pretty blowy up here the now, just come over the Lecht and it was pretty wild , forecast is to get worse, eh'd check the morn before travelling.

Having said that, it's been sunny in bits as well

The heading of at 0700 is the problem part!  We will probably get to sneck just as they hold a morning inspection.  It is not the rain that will be the problem it is the wind if it continues tomorrow.

Aye its windy and very rainy... very wet.  i'll be pissed off if the game is off.

Hope the games not off i,m looking forward to this train trip.

come on the jaggies

And I am looking forward to spending the day with another Jaggie convert!!!  IHE will not know what has hit him with all this Jags stuff. :015:

Doesnt seem to windy here but was puring rain all night. Htink the game should be fine though

It'll be fine!  Besides if its off we'll just put some coupons on and watch the scores comin in in the Caley Club!  It's gonna be a good day!!  :004: :016:

I don't think that there's too much doubt about our match but nobody will be surprised to leasrn that Gretna's "home" match at Fir Park is in serious doubt and a morning pitch inspection has been arranged.

Saturday in Inverness...............showers and sunny spells. Wind 25mph. Storm over the TCS as the Jambos are sent home with their tails between their legs.

Right as always.

Make sure your good lady takes some Shetland Vodka!!!

the game better not be called of!!

I'll be upset if it's no on!!

please be nice for tomorrow!!

Aye, it better not be called off. I've been looking forward to this match for a while, plus I've got a good seat in the North Stand !

:018:

I probably will cry if it is called off - I've been looking forward to this game so  much!!! :crazy07:

Pretty sure it'll go ahead though - we hardly ever have to call off a game.

How is the weather, is it looking any better  :symbol_question:

Can't see as it's dark outside but can hear the wind :015: :015:

Och, the wind has dropped to just hurricane force now and the rain has also wilted back to monsoon condition.  Hearts just love those conditions.

Aye, here's hoping the the Hearts get cold feet...

Anyway, glad i'm not in the main stand, If yer not getting blinded by nthe sun, your going to get soaked and blown to bits.... :sillywave: i'll wave to ya all from behind my large windbreak ... TMFTJ  :015:

I see yet another game has been cancelled at fir park. Methinks this doesnt bode well for teams hoping to groundshare in the future. This may convince the SPL to Poo Poo the idea

Terrible weather you say?

*Off to the bookies to put money on a 0-0 draw halftime with 0-0 draw full time*  :023:

You'll lose a fortune with that bet....  :018:

This'll be the day Caley recapture 6th spot in the Spl, not just by beating the jambos, but by enough of a margin to overhaul Falkirk's superior goal difference... (Mothersmell will beat Falkirk by a few goals)

Jb predicts a Hatrick for Niculae today...  :022:

I'd gladly take 3 points over a coupon win, but I have a funny feeling my wallet will be bulging  :020:

The pitch is fine although obviously wet but it helps having so much grass on it. There has been no need for a pitch inspection and game goes ahead as planned. :021:

It is expected to be 6 degrees this afternoon with no further rain - http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/he/...st_weather.html
