Looks like ninth it is then

Looks like it will be ninth after all as St Mirren are losing to Rangers after half an hour.

Oh ho, a lot of pushing and shoving going on, lots of players involved.

Murray & Mehmet for St Mirren, and Thomson and Whitaker all booked.

?70k extra for us, good show.

rangers playing 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 too make up the goal difference working so far......  :010:

good news!!

?70k is ours!!

:001: :001: :001:!!

Wost ever position and lowest points tally recorded  :symbol_exclaim01:

?70,000 in our coffers rather than in St Mirren's might just make the difference next season between what are likely to be two of the league's poorest teams provided that the cash is made available to the manager and that he spends it wisely.

St Mirren have a million sitting in the bank from the Stadium deal so they are far from one of the poorest teams.

That may be so but they are still St. Mirren :017:, you have to feel sorry for them really :015:

Incidentally we would all have taken ninth spot last September :024:

Was that when Brewster arrived?  :023:

We'll be lucky to finish as high as ninth next season, guess we should make the most of it now!

Like the confidence Mee. I suppose Robbo would get us into Europe eh!

And here's Mee trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear an aw  :001:

I suppose Pele would have us playing in Moscow tomorrow  :015: :015: :015:

No, but it doesn't hurt to have a little trust in your manager.

I wasn't talking about St Mirren and ICT being two of the league's "poorest" teams in terms of cash but in terms of quality. I'm not sure hat their million quid surplus from the stadium sale will change that.

I still predict that unless much changes both teams will be in the bottom three come the end of next season.

With all due respect the finances for the club eventually have to come from the wider public and businesses in our catchment area. It does not grow on trees. It is about beating the odds. This year was deemed poor but we beat the odds again.

Aye very good.  Why should we all trust Brewster?  I accept that you must support him, so why is it so wrong that so many people can't wait to see him get fired?

Hmmm, just as well you didn't use the word LOYALTY  :017:

I have absolutely no trust in Brewster, why should I have?

"Cos you should 'cos he is about to ask you  fer a date!      :021:

And that date would be exactly 3 years ago today, 21st May 2005 when, on the way to our last match of that season I heard him on the radio being asked why he wasn't starting the match - and he said "I don't want to be the one who scores the goal which puts United down"

Also known as the day I lost all respect for him!

Do you think he would enjoy reminiscing with me?  :017:
