Famous Fans

Away from all the transfer gossip and constant Caley Thistle specualtion....yeah right!!

Be thinking this for a while, who are is our famous supporter(s)?  Apart from the glory hunting celeb's who say they follow the big two, Hibs have the Proclaimers (Bught Park countdown is on) and Dundee United have Lorraine Kelly for example.

Do we even have any?  Not counting Charles Bannerman...yawn!!

I dont think we do have any. Celtic have the best Celeb Fans. U2, Oasis, Billy Connoly, Rod Stewart among em

Best I can do is this. Many years ago Brian Taylor (BBC Scotlands political editor) stood with us at Ayr Utd.

Naelifts is famous. He pulls drowning men out of rivers every day.

Duncan Chisholm is the world's most famous fiddler  :023: and he supports ICT.

Brian Taylor is an Arabs fan BTW but he must have been working in Ayr that day he saw the mighty ICT come back for a battling 3-3 draw at Somerset  :021:

Honor Fraser came to an early game.

Not sure if Bob Dylan has been yet.

Dave Stewart is pretty famous both as a politician and front guitarist.

Forgot about Dave Stewart. He's been in my car so that in itself makes him famous.

As for Dylan, obviously 'Blowin' in the Wind' was inspired after a visit to East Longman. And what about 'Girl From The North Country'? And 'Only a Hobo' must have been having a poke at the tinks.

Mind you I reckon he had been mixing with the jeggies in the tin shed when he wrote 'Desolation Row'.

Make something up - Get a rumour started its good for a laugh. Something like..........

Fatboy Slim was reported to have said that he followed Caley Thistles results closely since his first Rock Ness appearance 2 years ago:015:

Think ad aim higher than Twatboy Slim if we were looking to start rumours about celeb fans

Time to recruit one then......be great to see some famous wearing a shirt or with a scarf....obv not Elton John

If anyone lives in Nairn maybe they could ask Tilda Swinton ( actress) or John Byrn ( playwright) to pose in an ICT shirt

Gordon Ramsay came to see us once!

Gordon Ramsay came to see us once!

aye.

Dunfirmline game a couple of seasons ago.

It was when he was doing his 'Kitchen Nightmares' up here but he was in the Pars End  :020:

There's enough problems with egomaniacs at ICT without encouraging celebrity fans  :029:

there was Julyan Sinclair who did Scotsport last year with the annoying accent...im sure he is an ICT fan

He is a celtic fan but when ICT were doing well he tried his "local" roots and acted as if he was an ICT fan.  Charlie Whelan the ex Labour PR man is an ICT fan and goes to games whenever he is in the Highlands.  Have seen Mike Edwards at a lot of the games in the central belt.  Does Robin from the Mystic Shoes count?

Looking through the reponses, it seems to me that the answer to the original post is an emphatic NO!

On the bbc of the ball website it said it was nessie.

Who needs celebs anyway , a lot of them are up their own @rses

Only ever seem to see them at the usual cup finals & half the time they're only there to be seen

The true fans are US the ordinary people who turn out in all weathers to support our team

  MON THE CALEY  :021: :021: :021:

an me i be a tv Celeb  soon, cant say to much at this stage, will let you all  no soon
