    Season Tickets + Resignation Confirmation

The Board of Directors at ICT would like to thank the fans for their patience at this difficult time :hiding02:

Copy-of-Copy-of-Colorful-Student-CampaigFirstly we can confirm the resignation of our Chairman and Board member Ross Morrison. He leaves with our sincere thanks for the dedicated service he has given to the Club and we are indebted to him for his passion, tireless effort and crucial investment in the Club.

We can also announce that our CEO Scot Gardiner has tendered his resignation, which has been accepted by the Board. Scot is now serving his notice and will be continuing to help the Club get through this difficult period.

    Haven't renewed yet.

Still so many unaswered questions, that the club are obviously aware of, yet choose not to respond. I can't think of any situation like this in the past where a club has shown such contempt for its own fans? The only time it communicates with us is when it wants something from us i.e. our money, or lobbying of local councillors!

Its treatment of its own players has been disgusting, and certainly won't have helped to attract players in coming to the club!

TBH I feel there are more cons than pros in continuing to support the club. I've been made to feel this way all because of the club's actions/inactions!!

The heart has been ripped out of ICT by those in control of it!

Has anybody bought a season ticket yet and does anybody have intentions of buying one before the 'loyalty/early bird' period finishes on Tuesday?

I ask because totally conflicted myself and find it hard to imagine the team running out to next to no supporters next season...😢

However I am shocked at the way things are being run and handled right now and would find it hard to part with the best part of £300 given the current situation.

I haven't bought our family x 4. The difference between the early bird and full price is not much so happy to risk losing seats and wait to see what is happening re investment etc. I don't think we will have to wait much longer re accounts etc as the deadline approaching. On a personal level I'm struggling being associated with this clearly morally bankrupt board and management team

Sadly a lot of us feel this way.

As a supporter since Caley Thistle was formed, this is the first time I've ever doubted my support for the team.

If I were still a ST holder I'd be adopting a similar position as yourself. Sadly, I doubt you will lose your seats given the empty spaces in the stands over the last season or so.

I’ve not renewed yet, but plan to as soon as there is confirmation of investment and the departure of SG.

I hope we hear good news on both soon, and that whoever the investor is ensures that communication improves.

In the meantime, I hope to make the Clach game tomorrow and will be at Nairn on Tuesday, giving the players my support. They are not at fault in any way so need to know we are behind them.

I think this is us all.

I have not always agreed with individual decisions made by the club but could usually swallow it as I felt they were part of an overall positive mindset and attitude at the club which was to do what was best for ICT, its employees, the players, team and fans. Sadly, this is no longer the case. I hope I am proved wrong by SY or someone else, but it feels like a rudderless (and spineless) ship since May.

SG gets the blame for all of this, and he does have to shoulder some of it (most of it) in his position as CEO, it goes with the territory. However, as much as he's painted to be the ultimate Bond villain, there is no way he can be solely culpable in all of this. His personality, general demeanour, and past history at Dundee and Hearts makes it easy to paint him as the sole problem, but every single person on that board has an opinion and a mouth to express it and they have said f*** all!

Perhaps some stayed silent as they disagreed but that makes them just as culpable as whoever made certain decisions. Every single one of them is responsible, individually and/or collectively for the demise of ICT, the wholly unacceptable treatment of now former players, and the current situation we find ourselves in. I hope they all feel good when they look at themselves in the mirror each morning and tell themselves that its all SG's fault and their hands are clean. They are not, and fans will not forget.

The thing is, and as you pointed out ... HE HAS HISTORY! Everywhere he has been has not ended well. He is to blame - end of.

I will not spend one single penny with the club until SG is out of the building for good. Rumours are floating about that SG has given 9 months notice - if that is the case then a total boycott is the only way to get rid of him. Anyone who doesn't support the total boycott doesn't support the club and its future.

Where are you seeing the post early bird prices?

All I can see is the renewal prices and the slightly higher early bird prices for new ST holders.  Is that causing some confusion with people thinking that's the price they'll pay after Tuesday?

Indeed.  It is entirely possible to support the team but not the management.   Not every Man U supporter is a fan of the Glazers

Also I think I'm at the stage where I may not purchase regardless.

The only thing I've been getting from the club the last few seasons is angry and frustrated.

It's going to take more than the CEO disappearing to change that as the culture is rotten at the core.

No, that doesn't make him to blame for it all ... it actually increases the culpability of those who gave him a job, free reign over all decisions and no oversight! He doesn't get a pass, far from it, but there are more than enough bad decisions and debacles for the blame to be spread around amongst all who are culpable.

I assume you're right and that the prices after Tuesday will be higher.

I might be totally wrong but as far as I'm aware the price of individual match tickets for this season have not been made known.  I don't think it's fair to fans to ask them to purchase season tickets and not know how much they are saving by doing so.

Until I know for definite that a season ticket is cheaper than 18 x individual tickets, I don't think I'll be purchasing one especially with all the goings on at the moment.

I was planning on buying my season ticket today, but for now my money is staying in my pocket. Feel a total disconnect from the club at present, it's really hard to support people who clearly don't care about the fans, employees or their community.

I'm still wary and feel it is perhaps worth sacrificing the early bird discount and waiting a bit longer, but I'm looking forward to the friendly at Clach tomorrow. Are others going along?

I'm heading through to the Merkinch, to see what the new dawn looks like on Day 1 for both ourselves and the lilywhites. and also the midweek match v the wee County as it's a home match for the Sneck Diaspora along the A96

I notice the kick off time has been put back to 2pm

Pay as you go could actually increase income for the club, the only down side being the income isn't front loaded / guaranteed. This is the route I'm considering as well. There is always the option of taking out a half ST if the black clouds have lifted by the end of 2024.

Perhaps if all else fails Gardiner will throw one final Hail Mary ( just not on the 12th Scot)  and contact ticketus. He might even get mates rates.

After the conflicting advice initially from the Trust, I have decided not to renew my season ticket just yet. I have decided that if the management who got us relegated, got rid of or put out on loan  some good players, complained weekly about plastic pitches and wouldn’t give our youth a chance are still in charge, I fear for this season. This as well as not speaking with players & staff following relegation shows the poor type of people they are.  I will pay as you go at a few away matches, most of which are on plastic pitches!!!!! Get this lot Gone!

My memory of this is as dodgy as anybody else’s but I thought the post early bird prices were there before… is it possible the graphic has changed since the prices first appeared?

If the Club had any decency it would put out a polite statement that encouraged existing ST holders to renew by 2 July to secure a small discount. We can but hope that after today's friendly that some sort of humanity exists within the club and something emerges. There is an element of guilt in not renewing but significantly more anger and distrust. It seems silly that the Club do not want money or that it remarkably is actually about to solve some financial problems. Accounts still over due with suggestion this might be problematic with SPFL Licence.

Yeah. It's utterly crazy that there hasn't been any kind of push to sell ST's aside from one X/Facebook post.

I thought everyone was boycotting until Gardiner was away? Those that would have bought tickets regardless will have already, it’s not something you’d likely forget about.

The prices on the club's website are exactly the same as were quoted in the email they sent out to existing ST holders.  These prices are early bird prices both for existing ST holders and new ST holders with existing ST holders getting an additional loyalty bonus.  There is nothing to say what the prices will be after 2nd July either for ST holders or for individual tickets.  It really is unnecessarily unhelpful.

I won't be buying a ST this season. I might go to the odd home game later on in the season (if things have improved) but as things stand I'll only be going to away games.
