  1. I don't think we can afford not to. You can't beat the system by backing down and allowing to walk all over you and with every bad decision and every wrongly refused appeal our case grows stronger.

  2. So what have these songs got to do with football? Absolutely Sweet F*** All, which is what the authorities will do about them. What a bunch of morons too for unveiling their woe is us persecution banner before the game - "OUR MUSIC HAS SURVIVED THROUGH FAMINE AND OPPRESSION". Get a life! Their music only serves to air political views from a bygone age and there is no place for it football, period. Yesterday's events also served to demonstrate that their team also continues to survive through dodgy refereeing and big lumbering soft overpaid foreign imports taking dives. The sooner that they and their Old Scum partners leave Scottish Football all the better for the rest of the clubs trying to play honestly.

  3. Am i one of the grounded few who doesnt feel offended or upset at chants by either of the OF? Sure....i agree...most of them probably have no connection or understanding with what they sing about, but jesus.....its only words and songs at the end of the day. Its not like they are clubbing seals or something. We are way too easily offended these days The Scottish National Anthem is about events from hundreds of years ago. Doesnt The English national anthem have a verse about crushing Rebellious Scots? Nah....mibees im just thick skinned....but i think theres far more worrying trends to put focus on in this day and age

  4. I was at the game and it will be reflected in my report how angry i feel. I missed the rangers game earlier in the season but from the radio reports i heard up until tokely being sent off for a perfect tackle rangers didnt look like they were making to much of an impression on our goal and that we without creating loads of chances still had enough to trouble them until of course the ref got involved. Today must have been an action replay because up until the sending off celtic did very little to worry our defence, infact the best chance of the game fell to us with Hayes brilliant low shot being turned behind. But i was seething at that scandolous decision and i had a horrible feeling something like that would happen. Earlier i think davis made a great tackle on one of the celtic midfielders who was bursting forward. But instead of us collecting the ball and getting forward into some space O Reilly called it back for a free kick even though davis clearly got the ball. And i agree with everything tht the sportsound team had to say when they commented that O Reilly couldnt wait to get the red out. Samaras is a cheat and a disgrace to the game there is diving to cause an advantage like win a pen or free kick but then there is diving and feigning injury to get another professional sent off. If i was samaras i would take a hard long look at myself but i bet he and his other band of diving pricks really give a toss. With Celtic the ends really do justify the means. Tansey was clearly distraught and yet again the old firm who aint as good as years gone by are just given a wee helping hand here and there just to make sure that their supremacy is untouched. I dont think any of the refs are biased i just think they are plain **** and are helping to destroy scottish football with their incompetance and quality as a whole. But there was a positive and that was that the team put in another solid performance. Davis was exceptional when we had 11 as well the back four being mighty. And as i said in the preview that this game isnt really a game that will determine our fate while it was more important for them, if we had a 11 the longer we made celtic to look enept the more desperate they would become and the greater confidence we would have to believe we could win it but no it was ruined. I also did think it was strange giving celtic the west side which was right next us. They were very awful i sit in the family stand near the west enclosure and sit with alot of families with young children who were having to put up with fans making hand gestures especially when they scored and at the red card totally uncalled for and now explains why all celtic fans grew up to be cretinous ********

  5. You need to learn the laws of the game I'm afraid. That challenge would not be construed as violent conduct according to FIFAs laws of the game.

  6. I thought we played really well yesterday. As for Celtic, they were "street smart" in that they stole a few yards with every throw and free kick but they were also dirty cheats in the way they: 1) Dived at every opportunity 2) Faked injury to get our players booked/sent off 3) Crowded the referee to try to get our players booked whenever they could 4) Niggled and pushed whenever they could get away with it Sadly the muppets that were masquerading as officials fell for it every single time. Absolutely appalling officiating. Still, the Celtic players proved one thing: "They are all Neil Lennon!"

  7. Of course we have to appeal. Most believe it wasn't a red card so you would hope sense would prevail and it gets recinded. If it doesnt then I think butcher may get himself into trouble with the SFA! Yeah it wont change the result yesterday but if we have tansey back we can stay with a more consistent side going into next Saturday.

  8. Like racism, I am sure Sepp Blatter probably thinks sectarianism can be sorted out with a handshake !!

  9. despite the fact that the geek milked it the picture tend to show that from the refs angle Tansey raised his arm and connected with the geek.

  10. What sums it up for me, is that if you hadn't seen the game or heard the score and you turned on the radio to hear "Inverness's match against Celtic was decided by a controversial decision", you'd bet your house it would have gone Celtic's way wouldn't you?!

  11. My tuppence worth, (that's about 10 pennies in old money), the referee is a tozzer. He spoiled an even contest by being conned by a cheat, simple as. Foran's booking enraged me, a normally mild mannered man, I had to get off my seat to enquire about his paternity, he should have booked both or none, the booking was instigated by Danny Bhoy shoving an up until that point relatively innocent Richie. Strewth Anyway, we played within ourselves but still contained the misfits from hell. That was untill O'Reilly intervened and ruined my day. After that it was always going to be uphill, but we stuck to the task without really threatening the cheats. No complaints about them eventually getting the better of us, but it all depended on us keeping 11 on the park and not having the obligatory penalty awarded against us by the conspiracy. Hey ho, we expected little from this game and thankfully that's another old firm encounter out of the way without too much damage. We deserved better, but it's difficult against the corrupt and the corrupters. Sepp Blatter could be their boss, no question. Rossco was immense, in fact all the back line were cool, lets not forget that Meekings is only 19 and Gillet policed the man without a neck pretty well, considering he ripped the Dutch u21 a new arsehole. Davis excelled and Hayes is the man to get the crowd on their feet, although the far end were on their feet all game anyway. Foran worked himself to a standstill again, performing heroics front and back, Tade never got the same service he did at Killie and struggled because of it, no shame in that, Shinnie almost poked one past the giant keeper, but he foiled it and well, just well...... My MoM was Hayes, he tormented the Tics without getting into the Reilly dangerous positions, however, when he is fully fit he will be some player. Rossco and Davis and Meekings are all runners up and Esson is blameless.

  12. Usually I'm happy to put down these shocking decisions down to the refs just being incompetent - but having watched that game, that's the closest I've ever come to believing that a referee is bent. I'm certain that, had the score been 0-0 with 20 minutes left, he would have found a reason to give Celtic a penalty. I'd love to see Samaras in front of the SFA for clearly feigning injury to get a player sent off - but the SFA will probably ignore that...just as they will inevitably refuse to rescind the red card. As for our own players today, I thought they put in an excellent performance - the back four did a very good job indeed, with Tokely as the stand out, and I thought David Davis was absolutely magnificent in midfield. The next time we play one of the Old Firm, we should probably just start the game with ten men, in order to save the referee time later on. Oh, and what on earth was the deal with that 'Famine and Oppression' banner in the Celtic end? Judging by the waistlines of the away support, there ain't been no famine anywhere near them. They were also giving the sectarian songs a good belt outside the ground after the match, with not a policeman in sight.

  13. This would be the very same song you sung for decades in your beloved jungle if i'm not mistaken Does this mean Scotland will be fined the next home international when flower of scotland is sung? Not sure if this is a very poor attempted fishing trip or Old firm tit for tat point scoring but whatever it is its one of your worst threads ever and that takes some doing dougal

  14. If we played a slow, deliberate style of football I would see the point but we don't. I feel our strengths are in our passing game with one or two players with real pace who can hurt teams. "Makes it harder to control the ball" must be related to shinty cos any decent player will control a ball no matter how long or short the grass. Whatever was intended it didn't work cos results speak for themselves.

  15. What law? The law that governs the game of football . For the 2 that red dotted my post why not come out and say why you deemed it necessary instead of hiding behind the pathetic anonymous dot system ?

  16. What is it with all these appeal threads? There is no point appealing its not going to change the result even if it was successful we are still going to be left with 0pts from yesterday Yes the standard of refereeing is getting worse but we should remember that referees are there to do a job and mistakes have been made since football started over 100 years ago Its called human error no-one is perfect and some ICT fans need to remember that before mouthing off and claiming there is some sort of anti ICT bias Lets look to the future not dwell on what is now the past dougal

  17. What law? The law that governs the game of football . For the 2 that red dotted my post why not come out and say why you deemed it necessary instead of hiding behind the pathetic anonymous dot system ? What is more pathetic is moaning about getting a red dot on a message board. Suck it up. Sometimes people can't be bothered replying to nonsense posts so just red dot it to show that its nonsense. Not that it was me who gave you one since I was banned from giving out green and red dots ages ago lol To begin with I didn't moan about getting a red dot and secondly why is my post nonsense ?

  18. Not worth appealing this one as the ref clearly spots Tansey looking for Samaras before leading with his arm . It's a sending off by the letter of the law , a soft red card but a red card all the same .

  19. I didn't give you a red dot. I'll ask again - what law of the game meant that it was a warranted red card for Tansey? Violent conduct .

Administration pending, unless... How can we go from SupercaleygoballisticCelticareatrocious in the year 2000, to Scottish Cup Winners in 2015, playing in Europe and just 9 years after lifting the Cup; Administration. Mismanagement and our demise was hastened by the appointment of Scot Gardiner. Ever since then, ludicrous decision making has seen our stock plummet whilst 'shady' dealings were investigated. The failed Concert Company, the Battery Storage, the Statkraft contract have all ended badly leaving the club facing insolvency.

That's another fine mess you've got us into.

      Chairman Ross Morrison resigns

Nothing official from the club as we speak, but the Inverness Courier are running with a story that Ross Morrison has resigned at 18:00 tonight 3rd June.  More to come as this story develops, but most fans are looking for more heads to roll.

Speaking exclusively to The Inverness Courier, Mr Morrison said he is leaving now because of the aftermath of the Fife move. “I believe it [the move to Fife] is the best way forward and I have to stick with my beliefs,” Mr Morrison said. “This is the reason I'm stepping down now.”

Reflecting on his time with the Caley Thistle, Mr Morrison said: “My six-year tenure with the club has had some great and some not so great times but through everything I was immensely proud to be the chairman of the club and clubs I’ve supported for 50 years - I was a Jaggie by the way.

“I would ask the fans to rally round the club at this time and show their support by not only purchasing their season tickets but also getting involved directly with the club to see how they can help.

“Hearing fans saying they would prefer administration to training the first team in Kelty sent a shiver down my spine. Administration is a desperate thing to happen to a club and must, at all cost, not happen to ICTFC.”
