  1. I’ve just had this press release leaked to me from a source close to the SFA.

  2. Simple explanation - he's ICT through and through (almost) but when ICT are playing your 'big' team, something has to give.......

  3. Heard Terry being interviewed after the game, biting his lip a bit he commented on the lack of decisions going our way. With all the injury problems we have suffered, the officials decisions have given us little chance so far. Hoggs sending off - I can understand why it wasnt overturned, but it could have just been a yellow on the day. Tokely - perfect tackle but because it was against the blue unwashed, it couldnt be seen as the ref wrongly giving the old firm an advantage. Tansey - didnt deserve to go, but wont be overturned due to the same reason as Toks, so as not to upset one half of Weegie city. It has often left me thinking how we end up with so many players sent off, with the team committing so few fouls over a season compared to other teams! Penalties. We have had none in 15 games, but plenty of appeals turned down. Sure not all appealled were penalties, but the law of averages says we should have had a few, not forgetting that several should have been. Are the refs conspiring against ICT. Is it a directive from the beaks, Dont give Caley Jags any decisions, as they voted and were outspoken against the 10 team SPL. Tel talked about we should go on strike to get our way, The refs did that, Celtic wouldnt stop going on and on about their ' Bias against us ' campaign, until they got more than their share again. Do the refs hate coming so far north, that they will give decisions against us?

Would just like to bring to everyone's attention that Donnie Matheson from D&E coaches has donated cash to cover the ?1000 appeals fee and also TB's travel costs (including a driver if needed) for the appeal in Glasgow. 7. No Don't get paranoid. As frustrating as it is, I see it as sheer unadulterated incompetence.

  8. OK, so here is my prediction !!!! Tansey's card will not be rescinded despite the fact that the refereee booked him for violent conduct, i.e. elbowing Samaras. He will instead have it reduced to serious foul play for leading with his "lethal fingernails" and the red will stand but for the lesser offence meaning a 1 match ban instead of 3! He will be told to report to a manicurist during our next game and must wear gloves for the rest of the season. Terry will get fined for telling the truth for the umpteenth time this season. He will overhear the folk in charge saying "see how you like this one Skippy !!! Kangaroo f****** court indeed !". Jonny will get reprimanded or maybe a small fine for engaging in banter during his personal free time. He will also be told to wear welders gloves for the rest of the season so his tweets become as nonsensical as the decisions of the officials. or in other words ... a three pronged injustice !

  10. Terry's pre-match comments were right to the point. I was going mental at the game. especially when Tansey when got wrongly sent off. How can celitc fans say there's a conspiracy against them? need a good look at themselves. another red card wrongly given out and in our second home game in a row. how can the SFA honestly stand by and watch this happen? makes me sick to the stomach.

  12. water bottles suffer. There's your three words. As for the rest of it, I'm sick of hearing the bleating that comes from them as well. "It's a long way" - after Sion, Rennes was a long way. Did you complain about that? Thought not. "It's not a nice place to play football" Neither is the east end of glasgow. In fact if there's anywhere else that does post apocalyptic ravaged cityscape roamed by mutants better, I've yet to see. It's not a nice place, Chris. "They are a long ball side" Pleeeeeeze. Have you seen us play this year? Thought not. Let's see what you make of Foran, Tade and Hayes today, and let's see who resorts to industrial football. Won't be us, that's fer sure. 2-1 Caley Jags - there's another three words (nearly!) GIRFUY Lennon.

  13. Aarghh (twice) - Leading with your arm and looking at the opposition player is evidently not an offence but when you do that with no intent or capability to win the ball - it is. It wasnt a sending off - it was a booking. Samaras was always in control of the situation, there was never any doubt that he was going to win the header and he was clearly transfixed on doing that. What I am saying is that Tansey's challenge was needless. His challenge was to put Samaras off and was not to win the header. That is why his focus was on Samaras and he raised his arms to try and get height to block - not to win. And lets face it - if he hadnt made contact with the geeks face we wouldnt be having this discussion. In fact if he hadnt launched himself it would have been play on or if he had launched himself without the exertion of raising his arm or simply stood still to block - then he would have got a yellow at the most. Bottom line is that he created the situation where he put the referee on the spot. He did NOT need to. After that the ref ballsed it all up. You should only go in for such a challenge when you have a chance of getting to the ball. DC - is that not a clue in itself ?

  14. Not worth appealing this one as the ref clearly spots Tansey looking for Samaras before leading with his arm . It's a sending off by the letter of the law , a soft red card but a red card all the same .

  15. What law? The law that governs the game of football . For the 2 that red dotted my post why not come out and say why you deemed it necessary instead of hiding behind the pathetic anonymous dot system ? What is more pathetic is moaning about getting a red dot on a message board. Suck it up. Sometimes people can't be bothered replying to nonsense posts so just red dot it to show that its nonsense. Not that it was me who gave you one since I was banned from giving out green and red dots ages ago lol To begin with I didn't moan about getting a red dot and secondly why is my post nonsense ?

  16. I didn't give you a red dot. I'll ask again - what law of the game meant that it was a warranted red card for Tansey? Violent conduct .

  17. You need to learn the laws of the game I'm afraid. That challenge would not be construed as violent conduct according to FIFAs laws of the game. It would and does .

  18. He doesn't look to see where the ball is and leads with his arm .

  19. He doesn't look to see where the ball is and leads with his arm . DC what are you on about ? this is your gawd knows how manyeth post justifying the sending off, and you are still wrong. Of course you are going to look and see where your opponent is before you jump to challenge him for a header - there's no point in challenging otherwise. You can even check again if you have time. If you can see where the ball has been passed from (or in this case lumped up the park from) as a professional you should be able to judge the flight of it, and where you/ opponent and ball intersect. Tansey did. As for your "interpretation" of the laws of the game, they are just that - laws. There is no interpretation. Law 12 (fouls & misconduct) lays them out perfectly well. The referee can only send Tansey off for either "serious foul play" or "violent conduct" There is no such offence as "leading with the arm" I can see no evidence of either of these offences in the highlights. He could only caution Tansey for "unsporting behaviour" which again there is no evidence of. He could have awarded a direct free kick for any number of described offences, including "jumps at an opponent" in a manner that the referee considers "careless, reckless or using excessive force" That is the offence that you have described, and that is the proper outcome according to the Laws of the Game. As my dad would say "gie's peace", but I won't hold my breath for you having the good grace to change your mind. When have I said there was an offence of leading with the arm ? Violent conduct pure and simple .

Administration pending, unless... How can we go from SupercaleygoballisticCelticareatrocious in the year 2000, to Scottish Cup Winners in 2015, playing in Europe and just 9 years after lifting the Cup; Administration. Mismanagement and our demise was hastened by the appointment of Scot Gardiner. Ever since then, ludicrous decision making has seen our stock plummet whilst 'shady' dealings were investigated. The failed Concert Company, the Battery Storage, the Statkraft contract have all ended badly leaving the club facing insolvency.

That's another fine mess you've got us into.

      Chairman Ross Morrison resigns

Nothing official from the club as we speak, but the Inverness Courier are running with a story that Ross Morrison has resigned at 18:00 tonight 3rd June.  More to come as this story develops, but most fans are looking for more heads to roll.

Speaking exclusively to The Inverness Courier, Mr Morrison said he is leaving now because of the aftermath of the Fife move. “I believe it [the move to Fife] is the best way forward and I have to stick with my beliefs,” Mr Morrison said. “This is the reason I'm stepping down now.”

Reflecting on his time with the Caley Thistle, Mr Morrison said: “My six-year tenure with the club has had some great and some not so great times but through everything I was immensely proud to be the chairman of the club and clubs I’ve supported for 50 years - I was a Jaggie by the way.

“I would ask the fans to rally round the club at this time and show their support by not only purchasing their season tickets but also getting involved directly with the club to see how they can help.

“Hearing fans saying they would prefer administration to training the first team in Kelty sent a shiver down my spine. Administration is a desperate thing to happen to a club and must, at all cost, not happen to ICTFC.”
