I think everyone at the club deserves a big well done for the season so far. Never mind Kenny Shields bumming himself up, I think he should put his duffel coat back on and get back to south park pronto, hes a lot more likable when you just hear a muffle. All involved at ICT have worked wonders, new faces at hospitality, hospitality B&B, new sponsors, the club shop taking the initiative to set up camp in th Eastgate centre prior to Christmas, the half time servery are serving at lightning speed, the staff at the bar keeping queues to a minimum, schools getting free invites and even looking out for a local school who had their gardens vandalized, great competitions, even different sections of the North stand are singing at matches, the membership numbers are swelling at Caley Jags together, the away support is growing and I havent even got round to the team yet. Its absolutely fantastic to be going in to 2013 in 2nd place, only 6 points behind Celtic, and still in 2 cup competitions, it just goes to show what a bit of self belief can do and long may it continue, just keep doing what you are doing as every week seems to take us a step closer to a top six finish for the first time, if and when thats secured the sky's the limit guys. Thanks to all for a great 2012 and hears to an even better 2013.

Me, my hand bag , and meerkat friends are off to the Northern Meeting Park. Happy New Year to everyone involved with and supporting the biggest and best team in the Highlands. ICTFC.
  3. It's strange how no one at Dingwall seems overly upset at the state of their ground causing postponements. They managed to absolve themselves on saturday by blaming Brines and will no doubt find something to blame this week. Could it be that Derek Adams is just not concerned about playing fixtures that he thinks his team will lose? At least a postponement gives them time to buy in reinforcements during January. I'm not saying that they would engineer this kind of "convenient" postponement... I'm not so cynical.

This is the first time since our elevation to the SPL that I personally have not had some lingering fear of relegation at the turn of the year. Congratulations and many thanks to Terry, Mo and all the boys. If the second half of the season is anything like as successful and entertaining as the first I will be a very contented Jaggie indeed.

I knew I could find a reason to love you....give us a kiss!!!
  6. I actually had a word with a lovely WPC on Saturday, just to check if my version of O and the Y song was ok, and she said that in her opinion it was fine. Who put the O and the Y and the C in County? Who put the O and the Y and the C in County? Who put the O and the Y and the C in County? Who put the O and the Y and the C in County? Shadow Lurking Barstewards She and her colleague even laughed when I sung it for them. Maybe that was just my singing though
  7. But the home end that is another issue....
  8. They definitely do have covers because we used to borrow them occasionally before we got ours. In saying that, unless they have got new ones, the old ones no longer fit as they widened the pitch in the summer....but ours would fit and they know they can borrow them from us if needed. However, as I said above, from talking to one or two people it seems covering the pitch would make no difference due to the nature of the issue. They may have had them in the past. They don't have them now. Sold them to pay Rossco's wages.
  9. I have been thinking about this over the past couple of days and I have come up with some alternitive lyrics that are inoffensive, instructional and will directly appeal to the public school educated politicians and socially upward looking PC brigade whose knee jerk, west end dinner table reaction to "offensive singing" seems to have brought this on. Please feel free to add to these if you feel the need. Who put the O and the Y and the C in County? Who put the O and the Y and the C in County? Who put the O and the Y and the C in County? Who put the O and the Y and the C in County? County nutty rotters! Never spit on either side of the bridge. If I had the wings of an eagle, if I had the wealth of Lord Coe. I'd fly over Dingwall tomorrow and share my prawn sandwich below. Share my, share my, share my prawn sandwich below, BELOW!

If you don't like it, then don't read or post on it....simples!!!
  11. Got links? Bound to be better than watching Only an Excuse! Edit - found them. Didn't think much of the Kiss one but the SPL one is quite good, particularly the mention of Tokely.
  12. How come County have so many weather related problems when they are so well connected to God? Is this punishment for playing games on Sunday?

    Indeed....and the winner's prize is....

Ahh good, the entertainment has started
  15. Their ground has always been shocking. You would think they would have spent something trying to improve it. I hope the SPL take a very dim view and hit them hard in the pocket and dock them at least 10 points.
  16. Roberts has made a large contribution already to the success of this team, Terry is nursing him on in his usual casual but strict style. Watch out for more explosive play by Roberts before this season ends, this lad has bags of still unused potential which he hasn't even opened up yet!!
  17. I am just glad that the rate of criminality in the Highlands has fallen to such a minimal rate that the police have time to concentrate on such harmless, trivial matters.
  18. Luke, thanks for this. I'll raise the matter at the next board meeting and endeavour to take the matter to the club. I'll update wheen I can.

I would say that Dougal also misinterpreted my tongue in cheek comment. I was hinting more at lack of identity around the globe rather than among our fans. We have an identity in our badge. Its recognised by fans of other clubs as well as our own. We have an identity in that many folk around the UK and some further afield know the Sun headline. We have an identity by what we are doing on the pitch this season. We have an identity by being the first team from the Highland league system to reach the SPL. Many of the older fans may not identify with the team in the same way as the younger ones do but in time that will change. Many of the well established teams in the country took many years to create an identity and a following. We are no different.
