  1. Gentlemen and Ladies of the Jury, please read on:- http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/30150601 That's it. "Nuff said". Kind regards . S.P.
  2. Very entertaining 2nd half playing some really slick football, lots of chances created and we could have had a barrel full today. Well done lads and coaching staff, very enjoyable day.
  3. so I was once subjected to having to watch Shrek. Shrek! As you wish - Shrek 2 next week then
  4. Very intelligent performance from the lads today. I noticed today that Motherwell were trying to play it patient against us and it didn't work as we were miles ahead of them with our passing - their goal coming from a fast break. So glad we have got the passing style of play nailed to a tee cause we are reaping the rewards for it now. Yogi - hats off to you!
  5. SPFL Stuart Armstrong (Dundee Utd 3-1 Kilmarnock) Scottish League Two SIR Dennis Wyness (East Fife 1-1 Elgin City) Highland League Andrew Greig x2 (Brora Rangers 7-0 Deveronvale) Dale Gillespie (Brora Rangers 7-0 Deveronvale) Craig Macmillan PEN (Rothes 2-2 Formartine Utd) Martin Laing x4 (Strathspey Thistle 0-8 Inverurie Loco Works) Martin Bavidge x2 (Strathspey Thistle 0-8 Inverurie Loco Works)
  6. Another excellent result, well done everybody. Particular plus points :- - winning a game immediately after international break, something that we haven't done that often. - again, turning good possession into goals. Stats indicated we had 20 shots! - from a selfish point of view I had a 3-1 win (and 1-1 at half time) in Gringo's prediction league! Lovely stuff. Let's hope for a good Cup run, starting at Paisley next week, as well.
  7. link already there -- see post 1
  8. Just to pickup on Davie's comment..... this morning, I have the computer on with Open All Mics. Once again I had to jump through hoops and connect through a UK VPNonly to find there is no live commentary of any game on Radio Scotland and with no disrespect intended, we have Barry Wilson at the TCS reporting on our game (when he is asked to make a comment). Open All Mics is a shark tank ... you need to butt in, be rude and forcefully make your comments, otherwise you get heard about 3 times in the whole 90. Barry is not a broadcaster and does not have the experience of OAM that the others do so its basically lights out at the TCS in terms of knowing anything thats going on. time to head over to twitter methinks Meanwhile ... on Toronto "cooncil telly" .... I can watch the Everton, Chelsea, Man City, or Leicester games and the Arsenal/Man U game will be on live too. Only the Stoke game (not on any channel I can see) and the Newcastle game (on that obscure channel I mentioned in the other thread) are unavailable to me ..... SPFL marketing at its best .......
  9. Not really sure what point the OP is making here. We all know that England, while not nearly good enough to make any impression on a major tournament, nevertheless have far stronger resources than ourselves to draw on, especially in a friendly where umpteen subs are allowed. So the point must be that the Daily Mail, aka Farage's Fanzine, still has one reader in Scotland?
  10. We looked at getting fibre optic installed Rene, but couldn't get a cable long enough.
  11. Theoretically, if you booked the Megabus far enough in advance and walked to each ground, you could get it for about £5 return. The ICT buses don't even have WiFi ( ) and while some do have a telly, they don't pick up real telly, let alone Sky, so I was once subjected to having to watch Shrek. Shrek! No I don't think they would jump, at least not by much, but (and this is across the board in Scottish football), prices are out of control. IMO for the standard of football we actually see, £15 is about right. £20+ is simply outrageous.
