  1. Chick Young is a right ******** apparently we are time wasting and we were guilty of it last week **** off you jumped up wegie *****
  2. It has all been said , just delighted and looking forward to the game next week.
  3. Matthew Lindsay a journalist with the evening times has called us the most attractive footballing team in the country by along way. What a season we have been having
  4. Show me a team that doesn't time waste. He'd have been gushing about "professional attitude to see out the game" if roles had been reversed. Chick Young is a tw@t.
  5. He speaks both English and French - a cunning linguist.
  6. Great result again. More importantly though...is this the most 'bearded' team in ICT's history?
  7. Put that in your pipe and smoke it Chick Young ... Btw, isn't football commentary/analysis meant to be impartial. BBC Radio Scotland are s?&# at it ... Between Gordon/Miller pro-Aberdeen and Chick Young pro-St Mirren etc Its funny you say that as it wasnt just Chick who was having a dig about time wasting but miller was asked at half time about us so far this season and he came out with the dribble that our possession based game in his 'personal view' is boring and has to much passing back 'for his liking'. I know we have had some games where we have struggled and maybe not got the ball forward enough especially last season when we were learning it but again the bbc in stead of praising us for what we have achieved they always have someone on hand just to find one thing to pick at, pathetic really.
  8. The twitter feed a very fine addition Scotty......... well done
  9. Ever thought of any weird ICT-related questions but were too afraid to ask? Stick them here! We'll see how many we can answer as well. Here's a couple of mine: When was the last time an ICT player missed a game with work commitments? In our first season, the former Rangers and Fort William striker John MacDonald scored for us at Hampden in a win against Queen's Park. The thing is though, he was a trialist and never officially signed for us. Was he the last ever trialist to score for the club in an official competitive match?
  10. Willie Miller is a clueless sheep apologist. I thought our passing was pretty slick today. We seem to passing the ball forwards more than earlier in the season, and some of the ball retention today was breathtaking. If only we could convert a bigger percentage of chances created. A few years ago I did some looking into conversion stats and realised that the "big" teams percentages weren't any greater than others (quite the opposite in some cases) it was that these teams were putting in a far greater number of shots/shots on target.....and that's what we seem to be doing more regularly this season.

  12. 1 point
Sneckboy, Sneckboy give us a wave
  13. 6 Points ahead of Title Contenders, Dundee Utd.....can't be bad, eh?
  14. Excellent result. well done lads. These are the type of games we usually struggle with.
  15. That's all folks another three points
  16. Lacking a finisher by any chance?
  17. I have been to considerably more away games than home games, at least a 5 to 1 ratio. That is because it is less travel, less cost, better craic, digs overnight if needed and usually back home after the game by 10 the same night. My question would be: I know who Dougal is but who the feck are Renegade, Sneckboy etc., etc. ?
  18. I'm sure it was said at the time that when County joined the SPL, we suffered a drop in season tickets, hospitality sales and sponsorship. If that's the case I'm happy to let them commence the slide back to their natural place. On the other hand, given that we won't be playing County again this season, it won't do us any harm if they go on a good run and take points off the other top 6 sides.
  19. Maybe we could contribute by offering say a five pound discount on admission to all their fans travelling on subsidised transport. If it generated enough additional support it could be self financing. We could balance any injustice felt by home supporters by offering a five pound discount voucher to be redeemed at a future home game thereby increasing the crowd at the cup tie and also the next couple of home league fixtures.
  20. Looks like he has made the biggest mistake of his career (although will be financially reimbursed) - He came on after 88 mins yesterday against Forest when the team were already 3-0 down. I can't believe that Mckay had this in mind when he signed up for them. No matter how much he is getting paid, no footballer can be happy sitting on a bench watching their team getting relegated.
  21. Richie also being kept busy off the park....modelling the Blue Training Sweatshirts which are now also available in store & online. http://ictfc.com/commercial/store?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=833&category_id=12
  22. I don't get to many games now-a-days with staying in Glasgow and playing Saturday morning footie as well as the 101 other things going on at the minute but managed to make Hamilton and last Saturday's game so delighted to see 2 important wins back to back. I thought we were superb the first half ... mainly due to the running with and without the ball by Watkins. At the end of the game one of the boys I was with said he reminded him of when we had Rooney and I can definitely see where he was coming from. He stood up to everything from 2 physical centre halves and won the ball in the air on more than one occasion .. when the ball went long he outpaced both defenders when running the channels. He might not ever be as good a finisher as McKay is and it will take a while for him to learn when to hold on to the ball and give the team a breather, but he is definitely a threat and I can't see any defenders enjoying having to mark him. As IHE said, Draper was superb throughout and bossed the midfield. Ross is pure class and I'd love to see how he'd do with those Sky statistic things for his pass completion because he must be up there with the best of them, always wants the ball no matter how tight he is marked and hardly ever gives it away. I don't think replays give Tansey's goal the justice it deserves, especially the shitey Sportscene coverage. What a goal! Good enough to win any match .. Considering that was Esson's first game in sticks for feck knows how long he didn't put a foot/glove wrong and would edge my MOTM just because he couldn't have done any better than what he did - perfect performance. I don't think it was a foul for their goal.. Meekings just misjudged the flight of the ball and should have been stronger but apart from that a very professional performance in a game I had absolutely no confidence we would win beforehand. Only moan... fans chanting "we want Fergie on!" or "we want Christie on!" .. just let Yogi do his job, he's done not bad so far, and if Ferguson's as good as everyone seems to think he is then he'll get his chance but he has done absolutely hee haw to merit the hype he is getting... it's just going to add unnecessary pressure for him when he does get a game.
  23. What we need is an online fanzine !!
  24. Has Richie grown a beard - will anybody ever match Nod ?
  25. 1 point
Yogi asked him to rise to the occasion and felt it was the yeast he could do. He couldnt so he was toast. The player commented it was "much a dough about muffin"
