For far too many years when this issue has been raised those who speak on behalf of the club sought to lay the blame at the feet of Errea. Different supplier same issue. Perhaps the problem lies closer to home.

Caley Thistle midfielder Aaron Doran could make his return to action against Arbroath tomorrow after a year on the sidelines with a knee injury. (Press and Journal)
  5. You must be thinking of the slogan "Jesus Saves - with the TSB" Everybody knows Jesus saves but Dalglish nets the rebound.
  6. http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/Aaron-Doran-closing-in-on-Caley-Thistle-return-28072016.htm Very encouraging, sounds like A.D. could be part of the team by the start of September, in better shape than before his injury, and I suspect more focussed

I've just found out there was a season ticket offer for the game tomorrow, the only info I can find about it is if you read through the article on the website. Buy your own seat for £10 but £15 on the day. I've just booked my seat online for £10 plus 70p collection charge, so if you want to save a few £ and avoid the queues tomorrow you should go online now and grab a bargain - no need to thank me
  8. heard a rumour that they were applying for "s**** of the highlands"
  9. think thats trademarked too

You sound surprised. Its the same every year regardless of kit maker or merchandiser. But aye your right its an absolute farce. The club really need to get a grip on this. And before anyone chastises me telling me it's not the clubs fault, i agree however, they as the customer really should have learned by now and ensured that we as thier customers (after all thats what we are) aren't in this situation year in year out. 1st home derby wearing last years strips what will the neighbours think
  11. Johnny Hayes scored the equaliser for Aberdeen in tonight's (28 July) UEFA Cup tie at Pittodrie
  12. Slogans under the badge are an embarrassment. It's almost as bad as clubs putting stars above their badge. What exactly is the point? Boycotting the club over it though, steady on.
  13. Not convinced about the left wing bit.
  14. Sounds like something a female rapper might call themselves!!
  15. I didn't want to get involved after getting absolutely lambasted following my previous comments about this abbreviation and tagline...but I feel that this may be the club trying to connect with younger fans. specifically those that have an affiliation to neither the C or the T, and probably who were born post 'M'! current, 'real' fans will not turn away from the club, but they do need to appeal to the youth, to secure a solid fanbase for the future. It strikes me that there seem to be a lot of people looking back, when we should be looking forward....
  16. In all the time I lived in the Central Belt, I don't think I heard the club in conversation or in the media referred to as anything other than 'Inverness'. Go to Glasgow and talk about 'Caley' and folk think you're talking about the university!

I know this won't be important to most but I have decided NOT to attend any further matches until such time as the decision makers at this club decide on how our club is identified on our club crest/badge. Whoever decided to introduce the NAF "ICTFC Pride of the Highlands" crap really should take a look at their professionalism.. Some may think I am being rather petty on this but our identity and history is important to me and the club taking actions such as this is one of the reasons you are seeing our fan base shrinking.

I find it a bit strange that a very general term like this should be allowed to be the exclusive preserve of a single football club. It's a bit presumptuous, perhaps, to claim that this very specialised interest should be the only thing of which the Highlands are now entitled to be proud, or that its activities are more deserving of pride than anything else in the Highlands. Not maybe the best way to win friends and influence people.
