  1. Let's regularly fill the other three first, before worrying about that, eh.
  2. Map below shows location of the new ticket & info windows, as well as where the raffle/programme sellers have been relocated to inside the stadium perimeter. A printable version can be downloaded by clicking this link > 2017_stadium_map.pdf

The problem is that, while we were playing it along the back, there was often little or no movement in front of the defence, which led them to keep passing along the back 4. All it needed was a misplaced pass, a heavy touch, or an interception of a telegraphed pass, and the opposition were through on goal. While the opposition can't hurt you if you've got the ball, they can if you give it to them cheaply. The key is moving the ball at pace. We didn't. Everything was so ponderous at times, that the opposition had time to regroup and reorganise in front of us, removing any space.
  4. Good point well made. It could also be said that if Inverness Sports Centre is good enough for people training for Commonwealth Games, World Championships etc, it's certainly good enough for guys playing second tier Scottish football. Football sometimes needs a reality check with respect to the real world of sport which it often fails to understand is out there.

Sadly so However, the new club shop represents a step towards putting that right.

No. We have to stop this obsession with looking backwards. Butcher is in the past, as where Robbo should've stayed. We need someone new, with a new background and new ideas to create the next Caley Thistle side.

The OFFICIAL version at this morning's unveiling was that he was approached on Monday but, like the Lord, football moves in mysterious ways!

Robbo could probably do without the slap up meal!

If they want Robbo I would drive him there myself, and buy him a slap up meal to boot
  10. Agree entirely. There may still be issues on the pitch but it appears that we are beginning to get things right off it.
  11. Good to see this sort of info posted on the forum & the club talking to the fans...
  12. It looks great. It's good to see that you will be selling the raffle tickets along with the programmes as we couldn't find any raffle tickets sellers at the last home game.
  13. Who is going to move it at half time? Oh, I've just remembered, our forwards don't score goals anyway, so it wouldn't make a lot of difference if it was in the opponents' goal mouth for half the game.
  14. Would be better playing it on the goal line instead of Ridgers.
  15. Aren't we supposed to be a community club? If any players for our club think they shouldn't be working out along side those folk who pay their wages then they are a little too big for their boots IMHO.
  16. As far as I am aware, only Celtic, Rangers, Hibs and Hearts have dedicated training facilities which, I think, include gym facilities so we are not alone in this?. If the club arrange gym memberships for players then fine but doubt the players go as a squad to gym facilities. Far better to tailor gym requirements to the individual players and monitor performance thereafter.
  17. Hi Mantis, I'm over 60 I said I played well into my 30's. DD I'm not trying to be smart but I would strongly suggest that it was JH's style of play that won us our first silverware and our highest league position no matter the squad he inherited which I agree was a decent group of players.

I believe there are at least 5 millionaires on the County board .

Under Hughes, we routinely allowed ourselves to be pressed in our own defensive third, resulting in either a hoof up the park which conceded possession, or a mistake next to our goal that created a chance, and often a goal. That's when we weren't passing the ball back to our keeper on his weak foot.

Personally I think it would be more correct to say we won our first silverware despite the fact that Hughes was in charge. I'll explain that in more detail when I have more time to collate the facts which support my view.

Don't bother on my account. I have little doubt that there is much truth in that statement.
