  1. Just thought I'd spread the word that - all being well - the club will be providing live audio commentary from tomorrow afternoon's game against Falkirk. The plan is to put it up on the club's Twitter feed during the match via the Periscope streaming app - which means hopefully that it should easily be found either on Twitter or by checking down the twitter feed displayed on the matchday topic. You should just have to open the tweet and press play. It won't be much good for people at the game as the broadcast will be about 20 seconds or so behind real time, but hopefully it'll work well for those of you who can't make the game. We're still getting the hang of this, so constructive feedback would be appreciated.

Leaving aside any suggestions of impropriety, surely creating a very senior and presumably well paid management position and making an appointment of an outsider without advertising the position and replacing long standing and popular caterers without the matter going out to tender is, at the very least, very poor and shoddy business practice as indeed, in the past, was sacking a coach with a long standing relationship with the club by text message. Worryingly, very basic lessons do not seem to be being learned.
  3. https://www.facebook.com/events/159196654986337/ Don't forget to buy your tickets for the SemiFinal against Hearts at Hampden. This may appear to be an alien concept for some, but always remember this, in space, no one can hear you scream. If you are sitting in your living room passing round the werther's originals and watching on TV, the lads won't be able to hear you. They have been brilliant to get this far in the cup and it's a great day out at the National Stadium. Be there or be square!
  4. I guess they are expecting it will be either Inverness or Aberdeen for the show for the final.

Seven league games, four of them at home and a possible three home play off matches to come. With our current form, promotion is a real possibility. That possibility could be enhanced with larger and more vocal home support, the away support is fantastic and has never been an issue. It's clear folk have stayed away for a variety of reasons from issues with the board to our poor home form and results earlier in the season but it's time for those folk to return and play their part. An extra thousand or so fans loudly backing the team would inspire the players and be the difference between another season in the Championship and a possible end to full time football and a much brighter prospect in the Premiership. Whatever your reasons for staying away, come back and let's rediscover TOGETHERNESS.
  6. Yes they do. Unless things have changed recently .... All clubs have the right to broadcast audio commentary of their own league games worldwide (not sure about cup but I am assuming it would be similar). The BBC has a non-exclusive right to broadcast league and cup games within the UK. Not sure if anyone has the non-exclusive worldwide audio rights - which is why we struggle to hear anything without VPN - but that would not affect the club rights.

Spot on my evil friend! "Fan" is short for fanatic and any fanatic worth his or her salt would go to EVERY game and indeed every event involving ICT or ICT players. I don't, and am happy to admit I'm not a fanatic. However, I am a supporter and even although I live over a hundred miles from Inverness, I try to get to every home game I can, and possibly the odd Hampden outing!
  8. You're comparing the holding pair of Chalmers & Trafford of the attacking Armstrong, McGregor & McMinn? Really? Trafford can break up the play with a tackle or two, he's improved with game time although he fades second half. Chalmers is more effective central or on the left, it's quite a fad to play people on their opposite side but with someone as one footed as Chalmers it's very limiting. Sure we can't replace like for like with our squad, but we have to adapt our game according to who we have available or our balloon will get burst very quickly. Starting Saturday.

The cup run is the icing on the cake. Promotion still has to be the priority. Saturday's game against Falkirk is every bit as important as the semi final and every bit as deserving of backing.

I am a long time fan and season ticket holder. I support the team through good times and not so good. I go with the Travel Club to away games and, if for any reason I can’t go on the bus I pay my fare plus extra for first to score etc so the Travel Club doesn’t miss out for my absence as empty seats still have a cost. However if a fan can’t go to a game, for any reason, that doesn’t make them any less of a fan. Each to their own, but, please one day will Invernessians appreciate ICT and support them any way they can, please.

There are all sorts of reasons why fans don't attend. To accuse them of not being fans is unreasonable and unfair.

May be a moot point but a fans forum is usually read by fans who already go to the games...need alternative means of reaching out to those elusive fans.
  14. Yes over 40 seats broken, what these young neds don't seem to realize is the clubs have to pay for the damage caused by them.
  15. I suggest that we punish their fans by sending them home in a state of misery a week Tuesday.
  16. Completed. Good Luck. ☺
  17. Easy Peasy - Reminds me of my dissertation in improving the public image of Pomagne, Scotsmac and Eldorado.
  18. Completed. Very easy to answer the few questions
  19. Completed only takes a few minutes, good luck Ross.
  20. All done. Reminds me of my Sports Psychology Diss that I undertook with the club in 1999. I got to spend a few weeks around the club profiling players and their attributions towards performance. Fond memories of Bobby Mann - his profile spiked through workrate attribution. Charlie Christie had a spike through team performance. It was the best time of my whole undergrad career. Good luck with it Ross!
  21. I suppose, that it never occurred to the BBC to host the event in either Inverness or Aberdeen. The only surprise is it's not Glasgow.
  22. Must be due a Scotland call up at that level.

If they can go but don't then they're probably not fans then.
