  1. We are going to need very strong officials to cope with these teams -
  2. It wouldn't be CTO without the forever faithful ?!!
  3. Another good performance against Ayr...can we keep this up for when I travel up for Ayr away in Jan? Very encouraging that this was managed without Walsh or Welsh, and hopefully we keep this up and see these guys properly fit for a return in Jan/Feb which would be a real fillip. Good to see that Carson and Storey coming good. Tricky game away next week to the Thistle then a potentially tough game at home against the Pars..... Looking good? Worries are; dwindling attendance and the January transfer window; who gets sold to help with the cashflow?
  4. Great performance today trafford and Carson controlling midfield storey back to his best great finish from Jordan keatings very unlucky not to score overall really good team performance nice to see us shooting on sight ?⚽️? keep it up guys
  5. Really important win. We saw last year. 3rd place isn't much of an advantage. Finishing second (if we don't win it) is crucial for the extra rest ready for the play off. Glad the team have turned it around, was seriously concerned after arbroath and Clyde. Expect Ayr to plummet.
  6. Another message from Caley Hedgehog: A trip to the club shop this week could be worthwhile for anyone wanting to pick up Christmas pressies and stocking fillers. The Young Ones will be there too I think to sign calendars. I had a look online and there are some nice drones, mics and sheep costumes.
  7. A message from Hislopsoffsideagain - Hi folks, For those who haven't seen it mentioned on Twitter, the club will be providing live audio commentary throughout the Festive Fives - This will also be streamed on Setanta via Belfast Belgrade and the Crystal Palace website via Eagle4Caley.
  8. And last but not least - These lot require close monitoring
  9. And then there are the "Droners" ?
  10. Good all round performance I thought, everyone did their job well without too much fuss. Was it a poor Ayr or did we stifle them?? I'd say the latter - apart from a spell after HT , Carson and Trafford owned the middle of the park ( sorry Alan) . They seem to have clicked and are getting their roles nailed down. Carson linking up with Keatings and particularly White was good to watch & I hope this can develop further. Only concern was some of the tackling was reckless - both Rooney & Donaldson picked up knocks from tackles they didn't have to make, although they stayed on its a risk that we shouldn't have to take - another spell out for Tremarco again too. Get them patched up & readied for the next game, make this winter run like the one from 09/10.
  11. With an apparently significant increase in the number of fans showing up then that's a very encouraging trend. And a terrific performance and win surely should convince more folks to help the team by showing up and giving strong support. Could be we are on the way to further glory..?
  12. Really good team performance today. I thought we had a really good team performance against Dundee, but today we moved up from that and were not only solid and tenacious but played some really good and often slick attacking football. Weather conditions were poor but you would never have known that from the way the lads played. Difficult to choose a MOTM as so many were excellent and there were no weak links. Donaldson and McCart were solid at the back, Trafford and Carson worked really well together in midfield whilst there seems to be a good understanding developing between White and Keatings. But today I would go for Miles Storey as this was by far the best performance I have seen from him since his return. When you consider the quality in the squad who did not start today, then I think we can look forward to the future with some confidence. Robbo has not had much funding to work with but he is building a very decent side. What we need now is for more people to turn up and watch. Nothing negative to say about our team but I thought the so called "honest men" were a disgrace. They might have been in serious trouble had we had a remotely competent referee. Some of the decisions were quite bizarre and he seemed to be totally blind to the constant pushes trips and tugs.
  13. A great performance from all the team today despite the terrible conditions and poor officials. Felt much better walking in the rain back to the car than a few weeks ago.
  14. Great win today the whole team played well in tough conditions. Keating's was my MOTM Carson & Trafford were close runners up they dominated the midfield. Jordan White had a decent game scoring a superb goal. Miiles Storey's pace was causing Ayr all sorts of problems on the flanks. Went on a brilliant 45 yard run to score the 2nd goal catching them on the break after another poor corner from United. James Keatings looked pissed off that Storey didn't lay it off to him? but fair play to Storey he scored. I would of been pretty pissed off if he hadn't.
  15. A great all round performance. with no failures. It was probably the best we have played all season so let's hope we can keep this up. I thought Carson and Trafford were particularly strong in midfield with Keatings and Storey not far behind. Well done everyone
  16. You will have to listen out fer this bunch
  17. He is at home watching Netflix - White Christmas and Never Ending Storey.
  18. White & Storey scoring....can someone check on @Alan Simpson to make sure he's ok?
  19. And we already have our first Team entry !!
