  1. Good to see Cammy, Robbie and Roddy called up for the friendlies next month. Also nice to see Daniel in the squad to, even if the SFA cocked up and has him down as a Caley player and not Hibs. u21 call ups for Caley Jags four “And similarly, the work John Robertson and his staff have put in to further develop the boys and transition them from the Academy into first team players and stand outs at that, has been exceptional. Robbie Deas has also come into the ICT team this season and has been exceptional from start to finish, even playing out of position and excelling at left back. He deserves the recognition. Seeing that ICT are second only in numbers to Rangers in the Scotland squad gives all of us such a great sense of pride.” *Dan is of course still an ICTFC player until his contract expires in June and I’m sure that he acknowledges that this call up has truly been made in Inverness!

  2. A pretty exceptional achievement for a second tier club to have four boys named in the Under 21 squad. I can't imagine this has happened too many times in the past. I just hope that this encourages the club to continue to invest in the Academy and that we can see more local boys breaking into the first team and hopefully gaining international recognition. Well done to Charlie and the Academy staff for continuing to unearth and nurture talent given the fairly limited resources at their disposal.

  3. Looks like it's going to be a very competitive league next season with no clear favourites to go up or down. Question marks over how Hamilton and Kilmarnock will cope with the drop, especially with the news that Killie are to shed so many of their squad, and whether Ayr and Arbroath can maintain the level they've been playing at. I would imagine that after the scare of the relegation play-off Morton will be pushing a bit harder next season. The Fifers will both rate their chances quite highly, while both QotS and Partick should be in the mix and pose a threat. I don't think any of them are better placed than us and I'm looking forward to an exciting season where we shouldn't have to be worrying about the bottom end of the table and have as good a chance as anyone else to take the title - but that new 'head coach' appointment is absolutely crucial...

  6. No need to worry on that front. John Hughes didnt even wait until he parted company with the club before burning those bridges. He did that by picking a public argument with the board and the then chairman by arguing through his friends in the football media at a time when he had just been given a new contract making him the highest paid manager in our history armed with a player budget, by a considerable margin, the largest in our history, that he should be given yet more money that we didnt have.

  8. She is a very knowledgeable person. It is only a question of time before we see a female manager or coach of a male team in the UK.

  10. A lot of County fans dreading that Uncle Roy might appoint Cowie. Could be the new Foran.

  11. Many congratulations to our boys, including Daniel even though he’s not officially still ours. A great result for ICT back room staff working and bringing on our local boys. Well done to these youth coaches.

  12. Dundee got better and better as the season progressed, whereas we crumbled. Just like when they beat us they were composed against killie in both legs, sticking to the game plan & working hard for their win. Well deserved, but I still hate James McPake. We have away to go to reachthose heights next year.

  13. We have lost the three teams we failed to beat this season, Hearts, Dundee and Alloa. Hopefully we do better against Kilmarnock, Hamilton and Partick when the new season starts!

  15. Watching the second leg of the play off final. Great to see fans back in Scottish football grounds. Hopefully we can all experience that feeling for ourselves in normal numbers from the start of this season.

  19. Quite happy with that, as at the end of the season he became a bit of an impact player coming off the bench. Hopefully we hear good news about Toddy soon.
