  1. Dunc's possession football right now I consider as part of a transition to be solid and prevent conceding or being easy to open up. As said we lack the pace and cutting edge to open up significant opportunities which means there is a large gap in the transition from back to front. However, its still better than the 'hot potato' high punting and hit and hope Doddsball we ensured - some of those performances and results were honking.

  3. Ayr play Arbroath this week subject to weather. We must get points against our two opponents before we play Hibs. If we do not we could be bottom again and a win against Hibs would not be great comfort.

  4. If not, they won't be getting my money. A decent draw for us though, especially after how close Forfar ran them yesterday. Perhaps we could contribute to the departure of yet another H#bs manager.

  5. There’s a midweek card in the top league so the Friday night game will need to be one of the teams that have a Tuesday game, so one of Aberdeen, Motherwell and Rangers. They won’t move Rangers to the Friday so chances are it will be the Aberdeen game then. It’s probably then between our game and the Hearts game for the Saturday lunchtime pick with Viaplay having the Old Firm for the late Saturday and Sunday games. You’d like to think with our cup pedigree and the potential for a shock that we’d be picked.

  6. We will have to be better than we have been in recent weeks if we are to have a decent chance. But it can be done.

  9. Interesting one this. Our previous signings from the Irish Premiership flopped but this is a different scenario altogether. Curtis Allen and Darren Mcauley had been playing Irish League for a few years and we didnt have any competition. Ben has just turned 21 and spent 5 years at Brighton before coming back to NI in the summer so he's had a good grounding. He's attracted a fair bit interest and a few teams have contacted Cliftonville to express their interest so I would have my doubts we could get him. Perhaps Big Dunc's name might be a big enough pull but he's certainly an interesting prospect.

  11. Seen we are linked with Ben Wilson from Cliftonville. Think this would be a good signing. Young and a great goalscorer. Still think we should be looking to add some creativity
