While it's disappointing not to win and essentially rule us out the Play off spot and virtually secure survival I hope we continue to keep looking up the table and finish as high as possible. Could certainly aim for 6th or 7th. Even push for 5th (though unlikely in 6 games). This season was all about survival after going into admin and the point deduction. (We'd have been title challengers until recently without it so form has been solid) and that's so nearly within reach. Let's get it done.3 points

Bored after watching the Greece game. Here is Alloa TV coverage of yesterday’s game. Have to say that this is the best/ clearest camera work by the away team I have seen this year. Commentator pretty unbiased also.2 points

I think the majority of players will sadly move on. There is no such thing as loyalty in football these days. The players understandably will need to look after themselves first and I’d imagine some are talking to other clubs with pre contract agreements already.1 point

I am going to say they might have fallen into two camps ... The 'Makwana' camp where the idea/ambition of owning a football club was larger than the capability or bank balance to actually do so and rejected by BDO as a non-starter. The Realistic camp who may have had the funds but pulled back when they saw what a cluster**** our situation was. Former directors owed large sums, fractured shareholder base with many small and large shareholdings, loans with security needing to be paid back, questions over land access or ownership of leases. Many people would just pass (very) quickly by at that point. That leaves us with where we are now ... no external buyers or billionaire rescuers, but a potential consortium of local people who have all done things for ICT over the last 30 years. We (or they) can have a pissing contest to see who did it best, and we will all come up with different answers. Alternatively, we can hope that for once, all (or most) of these people will work for the good of ICT to get us back on an even keel. I would love to see Sutherland, Savage and Mcgillivary put their varying business experiences together for ICT. One drove our formation, another instilled financial stability and fiscal responsibility, and the third brought some flair first time around and without doubt prevented us from already being out of existence more recently. ... as they say, "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts" and that seems to fit well here.1 point

Just a couple of points from yesterday’s match that was somewhat worrying for me. 1) The loss of Remi Savage through the red card for the next game. (Assume it just one game?). Danny had a better than usual game on Saturday, but he can be haphazard more times than not. Remi acts as an old sweeper type role whilst having the height for centre half and provides cover for Danny. He will be missed I fear!! 2) The crowd attendance on Saturday was a concern! 1650-ish doesn’t auger well as we head into the remaining home run matches. Weather was good for mid March and Alloa offered the appeal of an open match. The crowd has been ever so slowly dropping since the high of the Cove match level. Maybe all the negative press through last week had its effect, but it’s clear to me we will need more fans to get of there butts for the remaining home games. The years (decades) of not investing properly in fan recruitment is now having its full effect. The players will need the supporters more than ever in the coming matches. I don’t know what the immediate answer is, but fan apathy is a worrying concern for me. bc1 point

I wasn’t able to be at the game yesterday so I’ve just seen the goals on here just now. I can’t comment on the penalty or his overall game, but Mckay’s pick out of Stewart in space led to our goal.1 point

Obviously not wanting to open old wounds. But last season in the championship billy missed a pen at home to Dunfermline in a midweek game that ended 0-0. He scores, we win and we would have finished 7th a solitary point behind 5th and 6th. STATS EH. no criticism from me, he is our all time top scorer. he is obviously scoring in training or the manager would be doing his job and allocating pens to someone else. correct me if I am wrong, think I was once, I can only remember messi playing at the very top of world football against the best goalkeepers in the world not Scottish league one standard. Stats eh. apples and oranges.1 point

Maybe check stats on recent years, Billy 10 years ago would more than likely score. Strange thing is when Billy picked up the ball I knew he wouldn't convert. Sad thing is if we had scored the pen the game was won.1 point

What’s so frustrating is that we could and should have won the last two home games, and we’d now be sitting in 6th place just 2 points off the 4th place playoff spot! That’s gone now, unfortunately.1 point

I know I've banged on about needing a "sugar daddy" in the past, maybe not so much so now because we seem to be doing ok without one! But I am 100% in favour of Alan Savage being part of "A Highland Consortium" that takes control of the club because, firstly they'll have the club at heart and won't ruin it like certain previous chairmen and a crook of a CEO did! And importantly, it means that we can continue going down the road on terms of transfers, as we have in the past where we don't pay fees for players and instead look at the free agent and loan market. We've discovered in the past that there ARE good players available even on loan or pre contract agreements so tbh I don't see the reason to change that if it's served us well in the past . Again, I know I've said it previously that we could work on the 8-8-8 formula that Charlie Christie seems keen on so when have I become more balanced in my posts and even had a go at my own previous comments . I think its because I'm getting older maybe .1 point

I was thinking with their exorbitant fees, they might have got this addressed at an earlier point in the proceedings, rather than wait until we are washing our dirty linen in public (again) and an ex-chairman does it for them. I mean they have been 'running' the club have they not?1 point

Another amazing meeting, which we seem to have had many of recently. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/inverness-caledonian-thistle/6716456/transformational-ict-shareholders-summit-lessens-liquidation-fear/1 point

Somewhat ironic that Morrison, Cameron et al are now concerned about handing over the club to a safe pair of hands when they tried to flog it to Ketan f'cking Makwana.1 point

The letter from the JA’s goes to show how much Alan Savage has done, and possibly will do, to help keep us afloat. What a shame (for all concerned) if we have to liquidate after all this. A gutting update.1 point
