The county setup is superb. Not saying ict is bad. I have 3 grandkids in their academy. U14, u11 and u10. The coaching is every Tuesday and Thursday. Winter inside the HFA. Mostly every 2nd wednesday there is a festival in Alness v ict, muir of ord, Tain, Dingwall soccer 7 etc, even under the lights in winter. when they get to u11 they play home and away against teams like, st Johnstone, Livingston ( main pitch and they open one of their food stalls for bacon rolls for the adults) partick thistle, Dunfermline, Dundee, Ayr Utd, morton, kilmarnock. I have watched them against the elite teams, Aberdeen, Dundee Utd, that was an eye opener. Few weeks back I travelled to Dundee performance centre to watch u11 grandson v Dundee, what a facility that is. Wee fellow hurt his shoulder in a tackle and there was an on-site physio who checked him over before we headed home. county have boys playing from Stornoway, ft William, Thurso, wick. That is some commitment for the parents. I go back to the late 60’s early 70’s when all that was on the go was street league. I remember to this day Alex and Marion urquhart stopping in a car by the bught and saying we a starting a new league called “ street league”. Get a team together and a name and we will be back next week. Then John Beaton and Jackie Sutherland coaching on the bught shinty pitch on a Friday night, and travelling around Scotland in their cars for BB 5 a side Scottish finals, winners, and to Birmingham for the UK finals only to come 2nd. Or to Elgin to play for Inverness youth league select. A home game at one of the Inverness highland league grounds. Thought they were great days but OH to be an 11 year old in 2025.1 point

From P&J fan page Seven goalkeepers used this season Kellacher confirmed that a hamstring tear has ended Dibaga’s season. The Spaniard, who is out of contract this summer, may well have played his last ICT game after being injured last week. Against Stenny, 17-year-old Celtic goalkeeper Marcus Gill played as part of a one-week loan move. Kellacher added: “Musa has torn his hamstring and will be out for two to three months. We will now see if he has to go for surgery. “This season, we have gone through seven goalkeepers including loanees helping us out. “It’s a sore one for Musa, who has had a great season. We’ve had a lot of injuries at the wrong time. “We will consider our options for next week and whether Marcus can come back. Celtic, who loaned Aidan Rice to us this year, have been a great help.” Jack Newman Musa Dibaga Martin Mackinnon Corey Paterson Szymon Rebilas Aidan Rice Marcus Gill1 point

It was good to hear Alan Savage talking about Dougie Macgillvray being at the meeting today. It would be fantastic if DM could get back with the club in some capacity . I think it is also way overdue that his massive contribution to the club should be recognised in a formal way.1 point

A refreshing topic. Not out of the woods yet, but certainly very positive on the surface. With Charlie Christe perhaps having the interim tag removed from his title, and I personally hope that this is the case, we would have a CEO with intimate knowledge of the club from all areas of operation from the commercial side to the team management side and of course including youth development. Charlie is utterly invested in the club on a level far more than financially and deeply cares for it as any interview you hear shows this. The article I posted in another thread also shows he has a plan to blend youth and experience and to try to get the most sustainable and engaged squad possible. People wondered what he could do for the club after he stepped down as manager. I think this is his role. https://archive.ph/3gzWH With Kells at the helm as manager, we have done well. He has quietly learned his trade under multiple other managers both good and bad and hopefully taken the good stuff into his arsenal. His press conferences are a breath of fresh air, and fan engagement is higher than it has been for years. Although I have not worked it out, his points-per-game ratio must surely be up there among the best so long may that continue. Couple that with the circumstances he is operating under and to not go with him as manager would be sheer lunacy. Billy as his assistant is also a bit of a no-brainer. I am also good with Alan Savage as preferred bidder. Again, we have someone with strong local ties and a desire to see the club come out of the current malaise. Somone who has been involved before and has shown a genuine affection for the club. We may have questions along the way, not least over the 100% ownership statement, or other mechanics of any offer, but no-one else has seriously thrown their hat (and their money) into the ring either on an interim basis like he did, or with a plan for the future and without him this entire conversation might have been moot. Pretty sure there will be many bumps in the road both on and off field in the ensuing days, weeks and months, but at least that roadway seems to be more visible now.1 point
