  1. I am unable to sleep when hungover, and suspect that I may, in fact, still be p1shed! Hurray for Craig Brewster! Yep, still pished. Good New Year to all, and looking forward to exciting footballing times down TCS way.
  2. What uni u goin to and what u goin to study?? Im currently at aberdeen uni! No, let me guess. You are doing a Doctorate in English Language and Literature, right? *I tried to resist, but the pull was too great*
  3. Thanks to everyone who lagged this up, but the technical issues at the host website have now been solved. This has been reviewed as being "an accurate portrayal of what it is like to be an ICT fan in these dark days". Great music though!
  4. John Beaton is a smashing chap, but he has a good pensionable job with the Council lighting. Do you really think he would give that up to be Director of Football with the most promising team in the top echelon of Scottish Football?
  5. Loving your work, sir.
  6. 0% from fans not strictly true. There were 4 ladies, of various ages, behind me on saturday, who tried to get a chorus of "there's only one craig Brewster" going after Tokley scored with no success or support from anyone else. These were the only fans supporting Brewster at the game on saturday It might just be a laydeez thing, as my wife, gawd love her, feels very sorry for him and the way that everyone hates him. She is oblivious to the reasons, and thinks foottball is a "horrible sport".
  7. His radio interview sounds very very desperate indeed. A hunted man. "Stick together"=dont sack me. A good player can play anywhere. Apart from the fact that Ferguson has yet to try Ronaldo in goals, we do not have, and never have had, "good" players. Ours have been at best adequate, by any absolute standard. This has been ameliorised by the fact they have been well-drilled, and knew how to play as a team. When you tinker with the formation once or twice a game, you lose that. A good manager can eh manage anyone.
  8. Despite my continued appearances on this board, I nver even made the bench here. My transfer request goes in tomorrow. I would move for the right deal.
  9. "Inverness just stopped" "Falling over each other" Yep, another defensive mix up! Obviously not enough defenders, bring on Lionel, and go six at the back. That will save the league place!
  10. eh We are replacing experience with new fresh talent in the midfield. eh I cant see the loss of Cowie, Black and Wilson affecting us much.... eh...that's all.
  11. They would get Cowie for loose change, and hae a good second stringer. He will be very thrilled and we will be ?40k (estimate) richer.
  12. Elgin are a club in freefall, but without anywhere to fall to. They are in disarray. There was a courtcase recently, in which their chairman's wife was found guilty of assaultig the supporters club lady, who had been with club for 20 years or so. At least we are not at fisticuffs...yet. Then there was a player ineligibility fine, and a betting scandal from a few years ago. Just shows that not all t*nks are in D'wall.
  13. Having spoken to the police on the day and ICTFC today it seems that club officials were as surprised as the fans were by the appearance of the EGT at the game on Saturday. It was not raised at pre-match meetings. ICTFC contacted Northern Constabulary who say that Saturday was a training exercise in preparation for upcoming games, particularly the visits of Rangers and Celtic. It does seem strange but as has already been mentioned we are potentially under observation all the time at the ground from something much more clandestine than the EGT with their orange bibs. So let's give them no excuse to make a return visit to the North Stand with any sectarian singing or the like. hahaha like the northern constabulary would do anything about Rangers and Celtic fans, singing, standing or hiding Osama Bin Laden.
  14. Just watched the beeb highlights - good to see the third goal as I was watching the crowd when it went in. Not really too bad a perfrmance, at least in the first half, then heads went down. A team whose confidence is so easily dented is one that has a central malaise at the heart of it. We/Brew can blame luck, but to be lucky, you have to be in a lucky place, and ICT are clearly not. We are losing too many games. Some we play well, some we dont, but two more wins on the board at this point and we would be a lot less twitchy about a couple of defensive errors. Wood did play better than I have seen him, his first touch seems to have improved, but after turning his marker once, he then proceeded to try and do it again and again. His man, just walked round him, while he waited for the ball. That is an experience problem. The game picked up briefly when Rooney came on. He likes to get stuck in and will be an asset once he has a worthwhile striking chum. This is a priority, no matter how much it costs. The defence did mostly well, dealing with some speedy attacks. Imries mistake was a major **** up but looking again he had little option; heading upfield would have put it straight to a Seagull, he would have hoped that one of his chums would have moved toward it. They didnt because the defence has no idea where they should be torn between natural skill andthe bosses plan. Imrie is quality and will continu to improve. A good buy. Hastings slipped, not for the first time, but for me the real cuprit was Proctor, another player who I usually rate. He failed to attempt what was a very doable clearance, either by head earlier, scisors kick halfway through the arc or even a spin, at the end. Fear of failure, again lack of spirit. I am heartened by the news of a possible resignation today and Johndo's scenario would be a dream one for me. - I will even forgive the Red Balloon, if the resulst start happening. However, New Year cash injection with an experiencd forward and a good stopper would cover over all the mistakes ade by the board and management, and would pull out out of the RZ, without ever letting us acheive anything great. Still not the best VFM scenario in my book. If Black and Cowie do go then, that, of course will be a whole different ball game. Interesting times. Also I salute those who made a stand in the NOrth Stand on Saturday. I am sure it caught the eye.
  15. Dad of an old mate of mine. Jock was a great character, but few know that he was a celebrity in Japan, albeit briefly, as is the way over there. He frequently appeared advertising Big T on the telly, and one script, in particular brings Jock home to us. Jock is standing looking at the camera with a glass of whisky in his hand. Voice over: This is Jock McDonald. He has two loves in his life, Scotch whisky and Scottish football. Jock takes long slow sip of his glass. Voice over: This is his favourite brand. Big T. Jock lowers the glass and nods slowly, smiling his approval. Voice over: Unfortunately, he is less sure about Scottish football... Close up of Jock frowning. Great fun, and you can just see how it worked with his craggy face.
  16. Yeah difficult one, we will be lucky to even get the three from Celtic.
  17. HERE COMES THE CAVALRY!!!!
  18. The board signed him.... yes and are still letting him hang on Hang on?!?! They are busy negotiating a new contract with the "fans favourite".
  19. When I was arranging shooting, I asked the difficult question, as to whether anyone at the club - players, board, staff, administrators - had Gaelic. I was told, as far as they knew, the answer was no. Perhaps this is an unbalanced state of affairs, but it has now been flagged up to the club, and they may decide to move, albeit gently in that direction. I thought Japanese was our second language :thumb04:
  20. Thanks Alex. YOu are not the first to say this. I will report it. G
  21. No. I am Craig Brewster.
  22. With the club's co-operation, I was allowed into the stadium to do some shooting for a short film "The Home Game". It has been entered into FilmG, a Gaelic film competition run by BBC Alba. It shows a day in the life of travelling ICT fans on the way to, and back from, the recent Hearts game. You can vote for the film, and check out some of the others. Vote for "The Home Game" here. Thanks to the Mackinnon family of Skye, and Mike and Darren at ICT for their help. A win for this film would be good publicity for the club and its involvement with BBCAlba, and I will buy you a pint in the Innes...
  23. Great work, and an interesting website too.
  24. I think you may be right. Much of our disgruntlement on here is the result of the sh1te played at home. We are not, yet, foot of the table, a situation which would only then cause the BOD to review the decision to continue CBs contract. While that state of affairs exists I seriuosly think the BOD will be satisfied.
