Inverness CT -V- Dunfermline
Dunfermline played really well and deserved the win once they were awarded the somewhat controversial penalty. They gave senior debuts to 6 or 7 players and filled the team with youth. We wasted a great opportunity to progress given our greater experience. Dunfermline went on to show a greater desire to progress. On that penalty, our bench was very animated making it clear to Muir that there was photographic evidence to show that the tackle was outside the box. - Alan Muir, was the man who missed the Josh Meekings handball against Celtic in the semi final of the Scottish Cup. To be fair to him he looked across at the linesman for guidance before giving the penalty although appeared just yards away from the tackle. Had there been VAR, the tackle was clearly outside the box but Muir made no attempt to actually speak with his assistant despite not being sure himself.

He's One Of Our Own
The fact that some posters on here know what was chanted suggests it should be possible to locate where the chants originated. Decent supporters will have no qualms reporting who the culprits were. Ideally the culprits will come forward if an amnesty is offered by the club on the basis these people deeply apologise and put in 'community service' for the club.

Ryan Esson Testimonial
Rot Weiss Essen not an option!! However, Ryan's substitute role for Scotland against the USA offers a chance for cameo appearances from some interesting former players: Scotland: Gordon, Alexander, Weir, Pressley (Steven Caldwell 45), Webster, Dailly (Gary Caldwell 45), Fletcher, Hartley, Quashie (Maloney 74), O'Connor (Brown 74), McCann (McFadden 63). Subs Not Used: Douglas, Anderson, Smith, Riordan, Esson, Murray. Booked: Dailly, Steven Caldwell.

Ayr and the problem of Shankland
Next Saturday is a big game for our defence - the problem will be Shankland. Ayr have started as though they fancy winning the Championship - 5 straight wins and just one goal conceded, 13 scored, Shankland on fire, already with potential goal of the season. This is a start we can only dream about - can we match them, can we snuff out Shankland (and Moffatt etc), can we squeeze three points?

Ex ICT Players Score
Dean Ebbe's late goal saw The New Saints progress to the third qualifying round of the Europa League...................and Charlie Taylor's inch-perfect cross from the left was met perfectly by the head of Cork and Lewis knew his net would bulge before the ball even crossed the line (Burnley 3 Aberdeen 1) (Taylor played for us in 2013 along side Graeme Shinnie)

Hearts Game
Probably a very good result - ICT do have a habit of over confidence especially early in the season. As usual some people suggested Falkirk away, Ayr at home and Alloa away would result in 9 easy points - regardless of the quality Hearts showed yesterday, I cannot see any easy points this season so hopefully the team work their socks off in training this week and prepare for 3 massive games to start the season.

Ex player
Not as chuffed as Adam Rooney on £4,000 per week............but a good friendly win for Gary's side...

Who wants Gary Warren to stay?
In terms of moving on, is there any support for a new post where people on this forum can formally thank Gary for his enormous personal contribution to the club. We have not had a chance to say good bye to a tremendous player so this might be the best way some of us can can say thanks for the memories.

Who would you like to see at ICT next season?
You would hope that but my point is that he was very focussed and very professional in that season of hell.

Jamie is a great signing - he trains and performs like a true professional

With royalties no doubt we could only afford a supporter rendering 'Give me a C, ...down to 'E' at the end of Thistle....unless Dougie would waive his royalties to us playing ' But let me tell you that I love you, that I think about you all the time, Caledonia you're calling me to win our games at home' and when we score 'Caledonia's been everything I've ever had'

Gary Warren told he can leave
Gary does not have speed but like Bobby Mann he might come out and prove people wrong.

Championship 2018/19
Partick did not anticipate relegation. They performed very badly against Livingston because Livingston were the better side, and absolutely deserved to win. Partick have lost Maxwell as their Chief Executive. They may dismiss Archibald who states : ''We'll have to rebuild - I think we have 15 or 16 players out of contract; others in contract have clauses as well to protect the club financially. It's important that the club's protected first and foremost.''' So with less than 8 weeks until the league cup starts regardless of parachute payment, it seems highly unlikely that a virtually rebuilt Thistle will start the new season very well. We need a solid and steady start to assess the competition.

Toni Macaroni or Plastic Whistle?
Charles we cannot live in the past. Livingston have re-emerged from significant adversity and in my view deserve to be in the SPFL.

Who would you like to see at ICT next season?
Dumbarton are part time. They proved stubborn opponents for us. Tom Walsh will be highly motivated to be full time again. Kyle Hutton may or may not sign but after his time at Rangers he took some while to recover from a broken leg. I seem to recall him being a strong player against us this year in the games I saw. He too would be highly motivated to return to full time football.

Highland Derbies Next Season
Draining the swamp - most of Ross County's players are out of contract at the season end. Even contracted players such as Billy on £125k per annum are unlikely to be too excited if they get big pay cuts. The chances of them beating St Johnstone away this Saturday are as likely as CountyAir being granted a trading licence to fly out of Tain International Airport. I have a feeling Livingston will triumph over Dundee United and then beat Partick. Next year's Championship will be very competitive and it would be nice if we can harvest much needed points off County.

We could try this challenge (define emergency)regarding Ralston's 'emergency' loan to Dundee United - roy macdonald @roym62 Mar 17 More Replying to @dundeeunitedfc @spfl but last year emergency loans were called cheating by Dundee United fans 1 reply1 retweet2 likes Reply 1 Retweet 1 Like 2 Richard Montgomery @RicardoBaresi Mar 17 More Still think it is dodgy & unfair, we've been without a RB all season so what's the emergency now??
