What's Jimmy Calder playing like at present?

6pts needed for European Footie?
As Killie demonstrated nothing is easy in football. When we were relegated we were 'nearly safe'. We never made it. As Lomas said the point in Inverness was potentially crucial. Equally it may have been crucial for us because we used to have a habit of seeking wins as opposed to draws and losing games we should have won. Expect a tough 5 games with some mixed emotions.

Life without Rangers...How was it for you?
Imagine what life might be like if Celtic were out too! It has boosted Scottish football. The Third Division will have benefited enormously. Charles Green having hoodwinked Craig Whyte, will have made a mint. Clever guy. The SPL has been really competitive as have the Cups. It forced Celtic to take the European Cup seriously and let some of the diddy Scottish teams beat them. We have to give credit to the decent Rangers supporters for their amazing loyalty. That is an example to all - are you ready Pars supporters?

Proud of the evident noise - Just saying
Terry is always asking the fans to get behind the team at home and last night it was brilliant support from the north stand.

ICT -V- Ross County
Dear Mr Adams Junior, TV evidence makes it clear Charlie was hit by a Swiss Roll. Foot on foot. Iain Brines was therefore 100% correct in awarding the mighty ICT, home of a Bridge and Castle, a penalty. TV evidence also shows the Brora Rangers star, Rossco Tokely, gave us a fair penalty too. Equally, a few weeks back, young Shinnie was caught late and we should have had a penalty at the Strathconon Sands Stadium at the Wendy House end. You'll no get Manager of the Month for March!! It was fun seeing your unbeaten record end in the Heart of the Highlands. Seasonal Greetins from ICT

The "Signed Up For Next Season" Thread
I actually think the next best signature should be Antonio Reguero. With Essen this season we have won just one game. Antonio should be our next priority I hope along with Owen and Dave the Rave. Both Antonio and Dave have benefited from ICT's great history at rehabilitating players careers.

Did Adams really say that?
I thought the radio phone in after the game was quite a Mickey take - ''with Craig Brown going upstairs where would Adams dad go?'' It was implied that Young Derek did not go anywhere without his dad. That is a fair point because his Dad rescued him from Hibs before the sack was dished out. The suggestion was that Adams though was a perfect fit to Ross County which is sad really. Cue updated Hitler video.

Confirmed: Top 6
Only Dundee United and Killie from the bottom 6 can catch County. County basically need one point. They play Kilmarnock next and Kilmarnock must win it. Killie need two wins and a draw to overtake County. Hearts entertain Ross County in the last game for both teams before the split. Dundee United need to beat St Johnstone and Aberdeen away to overtake County. Hibs have to beat ICT and Celtic away to overtake County. Ross County are virtually certain to finish in the top six even if they lose both games. Michael Fraser is their weak link but I think the chances of three teams overtaking them are very slim. We need a result against Hibs so we could help our neighbours reach the promised land if we draw with them.

Andy Shinnie to Birmingham City
He has been fantastic for us so will go with our best wishes.

What are the chances....
What are the chances of Inverness and Ross County making into the Europa League and then getting drawn against one another?

Hearts -V- ICT
Just seen the highlights - is Shane on commission from Spot the Ball competitions?

BBC ALBA on Saturday
The way Tade shoots, he might get the winner again for us this Saturday if he miscues it in Dingwall but hits it as hard as he did last year.

Putting things in Perspective
I have just listened to Kenny Shiels talking about being sent to the stand. How many times have we seen Managers get frustrated and kick out instinctively? Against Celtic, thousands of people stood up throughout the game and yet when one spectator in the main stand stood up to make a valid point he was told to sit down. Where is the fairness in the two incidents? Throughout a season guys like Terry and Kenny are on the end of some quite bilious abuse. Do we tolerate that in our workplaces. No, it is a form of bullying. Football is about entertainment and Kenny is an absolute breath of fresh air. So too is Terry. Let's hope the organisers of Scottish football agree and put these issues in perspective. Vincent Lunny might like to help with this by speaking to the Head of Referees in Scotland to see if the man handling by McCourt on Doran was fair and consistent with the manhandling of Celtic players by Juventus players and whether the Sissoko challenge on Mackay is one that referees are encouraging as fair and within the rules.

Celtic v Juventus
Karma. After the game Saturday Lennon was jumping up and down with delight, patting himself on the back, glorifying his victory against us. He won the battle against us, but was Juanjoed last night.

Owain Tudur Jones
Let me get this right-we have Paddy Foran, Paddy Pepper, Paddy Devlin, Paddy Mackay, Paddy Roberts,Paddy Doran and Jonesy. Warren is pronounced with a Brizol accent. Maybe Shinnie has a Doric pronunciation.

ICT injuries
Shane has been given numerous chances but has not been able to breakthrough. Liam is being built up. Gavin seems to fall just short of consistent SPL standard at present. He is being built up. Loanees have more experience and realistically should force the 'local' lads to work harder.

Billy McKay in line for International debut
Good luck Billy!!

Bitter Craig Brown
The boy just would not listen.

What are the chances....
.....of Ross County making the top six in their first season in the SPL? They are quietly creeping back into the mix and appear to have strengthened quite well.

Caley Thistle Legend Released
Sounds like the end of a prison sentence 'Jailend announce the release of Ross Tokely.' Hope he finds a club somewhere outside Scotland to complete what was really an outstanding career.

Danny Wilson Ineligible?
Any disciplinary suspension imposed on a player prior to a transfer must be enforced or applied by the new association at which the player is registered. The former association is obliged to notify the new association of any sanction in writing and upon issuing the ITC. From https://www.thefa.com/~/media/Files/TheFAPortal/governance-docs/registrations/fifa-regulations-status-and-transfer-of-players-2010.ashx Does seem to support the SFA after all but it is not clear if the suspension is the very first game that the player could play.

Danny Wilson Ineligible?
If this scenario is tolerated under UEFA rules, or international rules, what is to stop a club with a player suspended for a very important match, loaning the player out for one game, and letting him sit that out, recalling him and then playing him in the final. It would make an absolute mockery of suspensions. Clubs in England could use a Scottish club for a day long loan, let him serve his suspension, then back he comes free of suspension.

Based on the SFA's precedent, Zaliukas and Robinson could go straight down that route now in order to play in the final.

Surely competition specific means what it says.
