  1. Duff seems to have the IQ of Harry's Dog although allegedly he at least was able to open a bank account. On the face of it offered a good deal by ICT he has struggled to work out what to do since going from club to club country to country and probably convincing Dunfermline they would always be his first choice club. A friend of Macca. Duffer, well he is now scoring the occasional goal. Probably one every 25 games in the SPL/Cup against SPL teams. So definately a duffer who is clearly not in Craigan's book of good professionals either.
  2. The air in Scotland apart from Hope Street has to be far superior for athletes to that he has recently used. Once he gets used to some Highland air he will be rejuvenated. Players wanted by Managers are generally more motivated too. Our bonus and incentive scheme is unusual too. Miss an easy chance and you have to buy Terry a bottle of quality red. You can see his preference for French players. For a lot of away games, win and you share a fish supper at Auchterarder; lose and you share a fish supper at Auchterarder. Win or lose the whole team then have to pick Terry up from the pub and get him back on the bus. Togetherness in action. Can we just call you Claude?
  3. Very good news. He has been inspirational in his new role epitomising the 'Fighting Irish' in a most positive way.
  4. Bonne! Zees ees tres bien, Calais 3 Celtic 1
  5. This is a fantastic way to treat someone especially after the injury. Keep the positive thinking going Hoggy. You will be a fat porker for a while but this news means you will come back leaner and fitter.
  6. For those who have not seen our last three games live, Procter has played his part in all three victories. Billy MacKay has worked his socks off. He was very good at Motherwell.
  7. Well done referee. Templeton tried to trick the referee and failed. BBC highlights absolutely clear. Hopefully Paulo will fine the player for cheating and warn him as to his future conduct.
  8. We also had to explain to them that we were singing and clapping because Inverness had scored three goals..................and they had scored one.
  9. That will definitely create unity in the dressing room. Absolutely hilarious.
  10. 54 was a nonsense figure. There were well over 100.
  11. Andrew Shinnie has a metatarsal injury keeping him out 6 weeks minimum. No news on Romain though.
  12. We take one game at a time.
  13. We need to look after ourselves. The league match in a months time is now more vital for us not to lose. Dunfermline are not that far away from us at present. We now need to make the most of the extra cash but remember Dunfermline were last relegated in the year they had a good cup run. That said, we got our revenge for that last night.
  14. Proctor played Saturday as a sub. Piermayr could play alongside Golobart. That has been tested against Dunfermline. Proctor or Meekings could play right back. Meekings came on against Dunfermline as RB. Time to make the most of his long throw. After Turner's clanger on his debut Smith will fancy his chances against ICT. The last thing we want is to underestimate him and for him to play an absolute blinder to prove he is good enough to be number one.
  15. http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/spl/dunfermline_2_3_hibernian_adventurous_approach_pays_off_for_hibs_1_2058892 Higher Leigh!
  16. Vive la France - le goal au mamabonne c'est explosive!
  17. David Davis made his debut at Leyton Orient yesterday as rock-bottom Chesterfield drew 1-1. He was booked and Chesterfield kept up a 17 game win less run. Not the best of choices I suspect.
  18. In boxing terminology, yesterday he conceded about 4 stone in weight and 6 inches in height to Higdon. We may well miss him against Dunfermline.
  19. Who remembers Lord Lucan? Can you recall where you were when Jim Calder sat on his crossbar during a match? Did you see Thommo score against Stenhousemuir in the Scottish Cup? Did you ever see Denis Wyness get booked? Trivia, but as modern day ICT supporters, can you recall the last penalty? I guess Rooney took it? So when will an ICT be adjudged to have been fouled in the box - yet another Highland mystery. Ross County had their first penalty of the season Saturday. So is their bias against ICT and County or are our players just plain honest? Who thinks our next penalty might in fact be five penalties at the end of extra time with Dunfermline? Will five of our players know what to do or will the referee have to give them a demonstration?
  20. Dunfermline have just signed Ian Turner - clearly a very good and necessary signing. Their Forum points out we have never beaten them in the Scottish Cup.
  21. 'The club also announced on Monday that manager Terry Butcher had decided to appeal against the red card shown to Kenny Gillet during Saturday's 1-1 William Hill Scottish Cup draw against Dunfermline.' Slow motion evidence shows Barrowman kicking Kenny and falling over. Kenny clearly wins the ball. In rea l time it is easy to see how the referee took the decision he took.
  22. As usual people dismiss the opposition. Dunfermline need the cash, need the win. We will need to outdo them by wanting the game more. IF we do succeed, we would meet Celtic on consecutive Saturdays. A draw and we would play the old firm four times in a month. We have to beat Dunfermline first. At some stage Chris Smith for Dunfermline will play a blinder - it better not be next week.
  23. 3 January 2012 http://www.darlington-fc.net/page/NewsDetail/0,,10339~2564884,00.html 25,000 seater stadium being the best in the Conference but...................
  24. David Davis wore the shirt with pride and should go with our best wishes. Both parties knew the terms and conditions at the outset. It would have been a bonus if he had stayed. I do not accept that we will be unable to function well without him. Next week we miss him and Richie but replacements will be desperate to win points for the club and establish themselves. If Owen gets himself fit he will provide extra competition in February.
  25. Charlie, Having just read Against all the Odds and refreshed my thoughts about the financial challenges faced by ICT, I conclude 'one Dougal spending too long on his Magic Roundabout' to be rational here. Certainly an SPL Christmas derby would be fantastic against County but we are not safe from relegation and County's exuberance is being hauled back by the chasing pack. An injury to Grant Munro and they might start a calamitous slide. Their current unbeaten run smacks not of ours but Dundee's that took them flying high...........................
