  1. If your heart is in football, do not let this affect your desire to succeed. Skill does not go away so it is drive and determination, practice and patience that will get you rewards - and a bit of luck.
  2. Yogi is a great guy. He hated coming up with Ayr but has found his niche with Falkirk. We really do want you to hump Rangers. This has definitely been an historic year for you and against ICT you must have set a record - beating us so regularly by reducing us to 10 men. If only you had not underestimated St Mirren!
  3. The nanny state! This is the best way to get disappointment out of the system. They gave everything in the first half yesterday. Yogi had his boys pumped up for the second half. Players do not like losing and towards the end our lads tried for the equaliser. Mallo was fantastic in the first half. Let all the players get this season out of their system and for those ready for the fight return to pre season wheneverr that may be. The more players enjoy Inverness the more likely they will say longer. Mike Fraser now has Motherwell for his social life. Even his dog may object.
  4. Surely someone must be able to force Hearts into administration or find that Falkirk or St Mirren have unregistered players?
  5. We lost it during the split because we may be underestimated the opposition. Already I detect the belief that the First Division will be a walkover. All these teams are to be RESPECTED from today: 2 Partick 3 Dunfermline 4 Dundee 5 Queen of South 6 Morton7 Livingston 8 Ross County 9 Airdrie Utd /2 Ayr 1 Raith The 9 teams in the final table were very closely bunched at the end. We have no chance if we re-enter the league as the big boys. Look at Dunfermline, Livingstone, Partick and Dundee as four recent SPL teams and ask why they did not bounce back?
  6. The Hibs v Rangers 'that was not a goal linesman' gave it, not the referee.
  7. It was interesting to watch the Falkirk Chairman, Officials, Yogi and players at the end of the warm up. They all bought into one final team bonded effort as they headed down the tunnel. Did we see our Chairman go down and walk up to each player to pump them up - no. Many successes and failures are at the margin and he may be wealthy and successful and a former top class shinty player but he does not seem to inspire leadership. Indirectly I have heard comments purporting to be from the Board with regard to their prejudices about certain players so I now expect to see an enormous reality check sweep the club. Sadly the severe loss of income will result in a much slimmed operation, job losses and I trust a revised operating policy and culture.
  8. Well done Yogi - you are a winner!
  9. Michel Platini, Bonjour Lionel mon garcon, vous etes un ero qui deux grand jambes et n'est pas vache de imbecile qui les roastabeef des anleterres. Allez Lionel, allez, un jour vous etes jouie de La France. Come on the Calais, Michel
  10. Finnigan pulling Lionel's arm to get a penalty. Blatant cheating interpreted in the opposite direction. Just for the record, a few years back there was about 8 minutes of extra time in the first half until the fourth official radioed Dougie Macdonald to tell him his watch had stopped. Dougie replied in the affirmative and blew for half time. Nothing controversial happened but it could have lead to some interesting debates afterwards if those in the know had grassed.
  11. Dodds, poor lad, had an incomplete education. He can never finish sentences. He meant to add 'to go down' and then say Falkirk 'will win the first half 1-0' but then add 'ICT will come out second half and win 2-1' thus allowing Falkirk to win the Scottish Cup.
  12. .....Saturday!
  13. I have not met anyone tipping us to win! We were relegation favourites with the pundits at the beginning so it looks as though they will get their way unless we lift the team like we have never lifted them before.
  14. Let us not underestimate Yogi. If he wins in Inverness and takes the Cup to Falkirk he will be close to Manager of the year. And quite rightly so, he is an outstanding Manager who's banter at the Tulloch Stadium will be sorely missed next season. Interesting to see what his jokes are like tomorrow.
  15. When did you become Butcher's script writer and why did you write such drive for Brewster? This is inspirational stuff. I just hope Big Terry reads the lot to his players and delays the kick off. Yogi might be concerned but we have Grasser, Mr Smith, our new Chairmen and a few other 'leaders' behind the scenes with sore sphincter muscles praying that by a miracle we win and they can then say they sacked Brewster in time. This speech could go down in history! Equally the hopes of the Highlands go where Dingwall supporters would want it to go. Let's stand and deliver. ICT's greatest comeback was the 4-3 win over Ayr. Yogi hated that. So what inspired us then? He hated playing us as an Ayr player. Nowadays he's started to enjoy it. Rossco will never forget.
  16. This is what should inspire the ICT players until the game: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/8058178.stm
  17. Hail Caledonia! thy name acts like magic On each Scottish heart when they're far o'er the sea. Down in the South when their day's work is over Their thoughts turn back, dear old Scotland to thee. Thy sons are respected and lov'd o'er the world. A Scotchman is always so staunch and so true. And if in battle his standard's unfurl'd, He'll give his life's blood, Caledonia for you.
  18. I know a bear that you wont know, Yogi, Yogi, I know a bear that you wont know, Yogi Yogi bear. Yogi Yogi bear!! Yogi Yogi bear!! I know a bear that you wont know, Yogi Yogi bear.
  19. Glen Mhor fully booked on Friday night. If they go there surely we could invite Lovell and co down to Johnny Foxes and give them a friendly Highland night to remember? Yogi would love it in Hoots.
  20. The Grim Reaper from Partick?
  21. Falkirk may have lost cash this year through the recession but they have gained a stack from the two Cup runs. If they can spend ?1,000 on Pressley's appeal they will probably go for the tranquility of the Marriott.
  22. Disaster for Caley - he was the weak link against St Mirren. His replacement will want to secure a Cup Final place. He may be a cheat but our players were due to gain again at his expense. How could the SFA do this to us?
  23. As long as reality does not change with 10 minutes to go.
  24. Lilley misunderstands Jefferies instructions about not getting into a paddy.
  25. Rangers should be docked three points - one of their employees has cheated to gain an unfair advantage. Surely the SPL can dock points for this?
