So what was all that nonsense about getting tickets from ICT then? What a farce. And what is this 'subject to availability' all about? Expecting a rush are they? Why the hell can't we go to a league match on Saturday without having to buy a ticket first?

I think its a total nonsense. No thought whatsoever for the 'real' supporters that turn up week in week out in all weathers. This idea has only been dreamed up by the club(s) who have the cash to do it, with an eye on one thing only...and that's making more money. Raising the profile has nothing to do with - that's a smokescreen. The SPFL needs to get its act together here first before trying to ruin it further elsewhere.

Doubt I (we) will bother with this one due to the pathetic ticketing situation. Hopefully we can buy them on the day at the ground. I'm not going to commit spending money on a game that I'm not 100% certain I will make. Its not as if we're going to fill the away end and run up a two mile queue is it? I've never liked buying tickets in advance for a normal league game. As I say, its pathetic.
  4. Hope its stopped snowing now L_G...I'm not going to make it now. Just got up

We're really going to miss him!
  6. I'd flagged this up as a possible Gringo away day but the current state of the railway down my way could scupper that. But its only Wednesday so plenty of time for them to fix it....or for it to get worse. So..I'm a possibly maybe.
  7. Polworth and Tansey have a great shot in them that can worry any defence and 'keeper...they just need the ball to do it with!
  8. Poor performance all round I thought. Passing was woeful at times and we had no ideas or creativity going forward. StJ did a great defending job when they went down to ten men. Nobody deserved to win this game.
  9. Agents Shinnie, Hayes, Rooney and Robson starting to activate Plan A? Maybe

Thanks for all your help over the years Laura. Sorry I was a pain at times Best wishes for the future xx
  11. I noticed he pulled up with a hamstring problem in mid week against Hibs...or is he just scarred of returning to Inverness this Saturday Glad he's got his deserved call up which should have happened a couple of seasons ago. Obviously ICT isn't a big enough club to have International players.

From where I live it's easier for me to use the train ;-) Having said that, there have been occasions where I have been in Inverness for an away game and used the bus. It doesn't happen very often. If I can get to a game and back by train I will. It is cheaper for me and I find it more comfortable. If I was a regular user of the bus I would prefer to get to the game at least 90 mins prior to ko as this gives time to socialise with friends / supporters - it's all part of the day out to me. I'd have no objection to the bus stopping en route to pick up supporters but a lengthy break is unnecessary. The current price structure seems fair to me.
  13. Please let it be known that I don't have an issue with anyone wanting the put money into our club, be it shirt sponsors or whatever. My issue with wearing a shirt with a company name on it that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I've used SubWay outlets on just three occasions and they were all rubbish. [All different locations by the way] I have a 'three strikes and you're out policy'. I'd be exactly the same if it was MuckDonals too (as would 1000's of others I hope). We've had good shirt sponsors over the years including City Link, ScotRail and One Touch. I know a couple of railway enthusiasts who actually bought an ICT top just for the ScotRail logo!!! I'm not in to this game of paying to advertise rubbish to be honest.
  14. [sigh] if only they were available without sponsor on the front

Totally unacceptable offer in my view and is nothing but a p*** take. Also I believe its a wrong move for Ryan too. Yes, it will increase his bank balance but he will be confined to the bench for much of the time and will become disillusioned with it all. This move could break him not make him. I think Ryan needs to take a very close look at this move and get rid of those £ signs. Yes I will be sorry to see him go - which seems inevitable - but would have liked him to come South of the border and not add to the payroll at Celtic...and for more money too into ICT's bank account.
  16. Awful place to be an away fan. Full credit to those few who are going to put up with it. I dare say the supporters bus getting stoned once has put a lot of people off. Can't say I blame them to be honest.

Baring in mind the hate between Iain and some of the fans I don't think this is a good idea. Can't really see him (Iain) peeling off in joy to celebrate with the fans when (if) he scores either. If he does sign and he does hit the back of the net every week would these fans still be in the 'hate' mode? Old wounds can heal and as someone mentioned above, if Yogi can control him, it may work. I saw him play a couple of times in his ICT days and thought he was a good player. I believe it was his attitude that contributed to his release but I'm not sure. My verdict: No worth the risk in upsetting the fans or team morale.
  18. I do have a few concerns for this season. Having seen them against FC Astra at home and also the friendly at Nairn our lack of fire power is very concerning and clear to see. Not too sure Lopez will fit the bill but we've said that before with the likes of Paul Ritchie, Dennis Wyness and Billy McKay et al and they all came good once settled in. Our possession of the ball is good but we can't do anything with it. Our final third stats must be very poor I would think. So glad we managed to hold on the Ryan Christie as he seems to be the only one just now who has some creativity in his play. Fon Williams worries me too, he doesn't seem as commanding as Brill or Esson and a potential liability - I can only judge that on the two games I saw. He just didn't look comfortable or confident. Pre season hasn't been the best so I think we will struggle until we find our feet. Injuries are a worry just now but once they're all fit then maybe Yogi will find his A team. Good to have Foran back but he's getting on a bit so I can't see too many 90 min performances from him this season. I think we'll make the top six again and hopefully go some way to retaining the Cup.
  19. There is no reason why you can't do this lads. Don't play the occasion, play the game the way you can. Keep this adventure going. Hope all those traveling have a safe and enjoyable trip. We'll be rooting for you all from over here.
  20. The only game I did saw was the highlights of England's QF against Canada. It was played to a crowd of 50,000 in Vancouver. Although the game was quite good (this was the highlights!) the thing that struck me was the lack of atmosphere within the crowd. No singing or chanting and even when the hosts got a goal back there didn't seem to be any further support.
  21. Hi Scotty. Sent you sponsorship money for Mrs G and myself via PayPal to your email.
  22. He was my MoM by a country mile.
  23. I met up with Iain, his girlfriend Pam and son Craig in the Drum & Monkey in Glasgow the night before the game. Iain was at the game on Saturday. Stories of the Coia bus and other outings were the order of the night. Got pished too.

I only went to the final because I'm a glory hunter from Coventry 0.
