Tonight's Aberdeen Evening Express has an article highlighting Pa Broon's targets. Could be the usual Sean Wallace tripe but final paragraph is a worry:

And Hayes today confirmed he will leave Inverness Caley Thistle. He said "it is a wrench to leave the club. But it is time to start the next chapter of my career."

If it's true fine, if it's more speculative sh*t stirring then the club should take him to task.

he said that last night on twitter... will let you know tomorrow and nothing..... getting fed up to be honest

His twitter account appears to have vanished, thought i would have a quick look and he has disappeared of my following list and when you type his name in the people search, it doesn't seem to be there, maybe craig brown has him bundled up in the back of a van to make sure he doesn't face any embarrassment should he not sign for them :)

Apparently a deal to Aberdeen is a signature away from being completed

He deleted his account a few weeks ago and then it reappeared a few days later. Did receive a tweet earlier from the stadium announcer saying he had spoken to Hayes and he was definitely signing for the Dons. Who knows if this is true or not just wish he would tell what's happening and we can all move on.

Twitter is the pits..............Jonny hasn't yet made his mind up. He wants to do whats best for him but he's getting pressure from so many quarters. I wish Twitter was never invented. Its caused more problems than the NI phone hacking.

Twitter's a waste of time IMO, nothing but glib soundbites.

A more appropriate name for Twitter would have been Twatter.

And it is darn hard work, when you have the verbosity gene, to say anything in 140 characters including spaces! I have only managed to tweet twice in the time I have had an account because it takes as long to cut a thought back to the bare minimum than it does to pontificate at length on here.

Notice a lot of footballers manage it by using text speak. I don't even use that in texts!

Twitter is brilliant, people who don't like it are doing it wrong.

All that Jonny has done is protect his tweets, meaning that only certain people can see them. Whilst I enjoy twitter for banter and up to the minute breaking news I do not think its a good way for footballers to announce where they may or may not be moving, little bit unprofessional if you ask me.

Looks like we may have to wait for a club to announce (again) where he will be signing

Am hearing rumours that Hayes has been spotted at the Ecuadorian embassy with Julian Assange.

Anyone want a good laugh go and read the County overthebridge site!

Heard from a source that Johnny will not sign for dons or herts, and offer from daan saaf is pending and if that is not acceptable he is staying here!

You can have a private viewing any time you like big boy!!!!

It may be a while before me meet eye to eye so can you put a piccy on ****ter please.

And lets rejoice that there appear to be bigger feckin Muppets in Aberdire !!

I make no apologies for reHASHing this tweet from back in mid-May:

Good to see you've dusted down the 'Deerstalker' Mantis and are warming up for the season ahead ;-)

Todays BBC Gossip Column:

Ross County have failed in a bid to hijack Jonny Hayes' proposed switch from Inverness to Aberdeen. (Daily Record)

No online story yet though

Is it only me, but I am sick and tired of the whole Hayes "where will he go " saga. I just wish he would make his mind up and feck off, wherever its to, if he doesn't want to stay with us.

Exactly, no player ever has, is, or will be bigger than this club, the sooner he announces he'll be leaving and stops treating us like dirt the better
