  3. And make sure Ridgers stays in his goal area - to lose goals over his head, twice in one season, is twice too many. Get back in your area Mark, please, and we may still be in our League ...... please Mark.......please. I really get distressed when goalies stray forwards and then get caught out. He does it too often, has been caught out now so, stop it NOW.

  8. Last chance to vote on this one before our final game tomorrow.
  9. Hoping we forget trying to replicate Barcelona and Manchester City tomorrow, ditch the total football and have a right good old fashioned go from the off..... If Billy starts it should be in addition to Samuel and Pepple not instead of in my opinion!
  10. You’d like to think so but with our club administration history we’ve probably screwed up that clause too.
  11. Thanks I'd just about managed to block out that period in our history. Lol
  12. Comfortably Numb Pink Floyd wrote this song about the club we have followed since it's inception in August 1994. The first two verses (Hello & Come on Now) are about the fans speaking to the club and getting no replies, then asking through the Trust if everything is OK. Relax is the board questioning the fans about the hurt that has been caused by mis-management and not listening to our views and then replying and stating our insignificance. OK & Stand Up are the solutions to our problems. The final verse in bold is about the board ignoring the warning signs and that is why we are on the verge of disappearing into the abyss. Hello Is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me Is there anyone at home? Come on now I hear you're feeling down Well, I can ease your pain Get you on your feet again Relax I'll need some information first Just the basic facts Can you show me where it hurts? There is no pain, you are receding A distant ship smoke on the horizon You are only coming through in waves Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying When I was a child I had a fever My hands felt just like two balloons Now I've got that feeling once again I can't explain, you would not understand This is not how I am I have become comfortably numb I have become comfortably numb O.K. Just a little pin prick There'll be no more ah! But you may feel a little sick Can you stand up? I do believe it's working, good That'll keep you going through the show Come on, it's time to go There is no pain you are receding A distant ship smoke on the horizon You are only coming through in waves Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse Out of the corner of my eye I turned to look but it was gone I cannot put my finger on it now The child is grown The dream is gone...... We have become comfortably numb Listen for yourself, it's all in here>>> The hurt, the pain, the reluctance and pig-headedness to listen to the fans asking what is going on, the lack of communication, the lack of ambition, the stench of mismanagement, the concert company, the battery farm, the demise since winning the Scottish Cup in 2015, the lack of passion, the lack of commitment, the dwindling fanbase, the lack of leadership. It has left the fans comfortably numb: a state of severe alienation and burnout. When the pressures of life and the evils, insanity and corruption of the outside world are too much and you build a mental wall and you shut yourself out from everything and everyone. You just want to retreat by watching TV or listening to music a LOT to take you from your inner pain but your attention span is so minimized you may wind up on the couch looking up at the ceiling and constantly changing TV channels with the remote. Certain scenes or sounds may bring up painful emotions and make you cry. (urban dictionary) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Match/Ticket/Parking Info Naelifts it's a 17:30 kick off ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A bit about the game: We lost 2-1 at New Douglas Park on Wednesday night. An incredibly inventive goal from Kevin O'Hara or a comedy of errors from an Inverness point of view saw us go one down in the sixth minute. Another dubious goal saw us two down with Ridgers claiming he was being impeded. We could have lost a third in that first half horror show had Graham Grainger spotted Wallace Duffy blocking a shot with his arm. Enter Samson Lawal and suddenly things began to look better, and even more better when Aribim Pepple scored with his first touch after 68 minutes. Game on and all to play for on Saturday as we start the game one goal down. Danny Devine won't take part after rolling his ankle on the halfway line. All are in agreement that Lawal and Pepple should play a bigger part, but will anyone listen to us. I won't hold my breath. It's our final game of this season, win or lose. It could be a defining game in the history of this club. What on earth have we become... Less of this>>> Off the post, off the head of Ridgers and into the back of the net! Hamilton take the lead! pic.twitter.com/WY6JtjdaCh
  13. I'd be amazed if they've been that smart tbh?
  14. There was no real desire from the team in first half ,it looked as though they couldn’t care less if we lost or won Hamilton on the other hand were going hell for leather to try and grab the game by the scruff of the neck and succeed in doing so we only started to threaten Hamilton when the subs were brought on if the same attitude exsisting Saturday we will definitely be relegated and how Ferguson thinks one goal will suffice is beyond me
  15. Surely there is a clause in his contract that if we get relegated his services are no longer required
  16. Even more stubborn than Foran and he was stubborn
  17. Dulce et decorum est pro clava mori. Start as we did in the second half on Wednesday and I think we have a decent chance. My fear is that Ferguson believes he's been doing well and his tactics are working, and he's willing to die on that cross.
  18. Multiple thousands per week to manage in L1. Not a chance he's walking away.
  19. Yes, but..... who else would take him? Abject failure at Forest Green, abject failure at Caley Thistle. Maybe back to a coaching role, if his pride will let him.
  20. Our tactics.... Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day You fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town Waiting for someone or something to show you the way
  21. Lost in thought and lost in time While the seeds of lifeand the seeds of change were planted Outside the rain fell dark and slow While I pondered on this dangerous but irresistible pastime I took a heavenly ride through our silence I knew the moment had arrived For killing the past and coming back to life
  22. One slip, and down the hole we fall It seems to take no time at all A momentary lapse of reason That binds a life for life A small regret, you won't forget, There'll be no sleep in here tonight
  23. Sorry to be a pedant but Ryan Gauld is playing in Canada for Vancouver. MLS is North America not just the states. He has been their lynchpin and made what was a notoriously and consistently underperforming team look pretty good. Similarly, Lewis Morgan is one of those who just goes about things under the radar. Messi and the circus in Miami might get all the headlines, but Morgan has been consistently good for New York for a few seasons now.
  24. I hope we are not 'close but no cigar'
