September 1, 200619 yr Just checked the calendar and it's definately September 1st and not April 1st :009: McSwegan?... maybe I shouldn't have thrown my boots away years ago as there seems to be hope for me yet. WTF? :007: :007:
September 1, 200619 yr It's true hes signed a short term deal. :006: As a coach or a player/coach role?
September 1, 200619 yr I think RIG has made a big mistake moving, or demoting, this thread to The Rumour Mill!
September 1, 200619 yr Author i know better if it was here at all on this forum, then we wouldnt have mcswegan
September 1, 200619 yr No pleasing some people! :002: I guess it can just get moved back but I'm a bit owrried about leaving a lot of 'This topic has been moved' links all over the place :confused02:
September 1, 200619 yr Dods has a lady up here though..... :015: Is this now confirmed ? Yeh he was after her for a while............... :015: :015: :015: :015: :015:
September 1, 200619 yr Author still nothing on the clubs official website about it,maybe there to frightened to put it on incase of the backlash they,ll get :015:
September 1, 200619 yr Everyones a bit heavy handed on McSwegan. He was a pretty decent striker, a few years ago, in the Scotland squad and scored quite a few hat-tricks in his time. Like the rest of you I did not think the County situation helped endear him to the locals, but he has also had injury problems. If we have signed him, he may turn out to be a decent player given time to get to peak fitness.
September 1, 200619 yr I used to live across the street from McSwegan - has feck all to do with him signing, or what I think of him as a player, just thought I'd drop it in here before I feck off for the evening :015:
September 2, 200619 yr Everyones a bit heavy handed on McSwegan. I know you are one of the 'believe/positive crew' but your optimism (certainly for me :004:) is unfounded. We are talking about a guy who has had horrendous injury problems, scored 1 goal in 2 years and isn't good enough for a team in the bottom half of Div 1. Now I know Dargo had injury problems and often didn't score but he had time on his side. McSwegan does not.
September 2, 200619 yr this rumour has spiralled out of control. seems to me that it originated on the jailender and has spread across the bridge like flys to *****. this is the third day of talk about us having signed mcswegan and as of yet there is not a single piece of proof. its getting ridiculous. if we have signed him can someone please explain to me why the club refuse to acknowledge it?
September 2, 200619 yr Elgin wanted him. That was about his limits. Surely one of Ross County's worst investments.
September 2, 200619 yr this rumour has spiralled out of control. seems to me that it originated on the jailender and has spread across the bridge like flys to shite. this is the third day of talk about us having signed mcswegan and as of yet there is not a single piece of proof. its getting ridiculous. if we have signed him can someone please explain to me why the club refuse to acknowledge it? I don't believe it any more :003:
September 2, 200619 yr We tried to sign david winters, but he chose Hamilton instead. It just gets worse and worse! Is anyone else worried or is it just me :017:?
word has it we signed him,h,es to injury prone, would rather have had john stewart, seemingly we were 1 of 6 clubs after stewart,oh well i doubt mcswegan will do much, hopefully 2 english trialists will be better quality
