Inspirational Songs

The announcer is looking for an inspirational song for the team to come out to on matchdays. Something that will in years to come be a song that is instantly connected with Caley Thistle. For instance Nessun Dorma is a particularly inspirational. Please leave your suggestions

It definatley shouldnt be anything to do with traditional scottish music...... just because we're in the Highlands it doesnt mean we have to live up to the usual stereotypes. What about Ecstacy

Morecambe and wise singing bring me sunshine. Might cheer up the girners.

What did they come out to? Didnt see the teams coming out as I was putting in my programme money.

Would be nice if the TCS had a PA system where we could hear these songs...........or anything else for that matter!

The A-Team tune. How original!

Banana Splits is decent. I even wrote a song for Jonny Hayes to accompany the choon

how about "always look on the bright side of life"??? the whistling might be fun.

Its a beautiful day by the levellers

Cant touch this MC Hammer

If I were to choose a Runrig song it would have to be The Stamping Ground and I'm sure I could play with the words to fit the occassion

No Runrig pleeeease, I'd run a mile to avoid that pish.

Feel free to run mate. I'll wager that more people would enjoy Runrig than would consider them pish.

Show a bit of class Alex, no Runrig please.

If you'd seen them live in recent times you'd know they are class. And their lighting show is second to none.

Given the various suggestions there is a lot to be said for a medley including Robert Burns My Heart's in the Highlands - chorus of

Requiem For A Tower by London Music Works from about 40 seconds in would be fitting for the QF game. It's gonna be a big game - needs a big bit of music for it. I personally like Highland Cathedral by the Chilli Pipers too.

I can't believe nobody suggested this!

Considering it's a good pounding, uptempo tune written and performed by a lad from Inverness and a huge Caley Thistle supporter!

(This is only the early demo version but a proper finished one on it's way.)

Aye sorry i'm just taking an opportunity to promote my band! HAHA!

Still think it's a good suggestion though!
