The who wants to donate to an ICT flag

Please put your name down in principle if you want to donate to the fans flag.

Was thinking £10 a throw.

If there's enough interest then we can make things happen.

How about a union jack, with, just to increase the amount of red you understand, a big red hand in the middle, to signify the helping hand us fans give the players.   We also need a catchy slogan -

Fair play to Roger Daltrey and the boys.

  • How about, more accurately, We Are Caley Thistle....?

£10 donated from me too

What design did you choose ?

Fair point I find it a bit odd that folk are expected to fork out money without knowing what design has been given the green light

I find it extremely odd . We are asked to vote on the design and then not told the outcome of said vote , yet expected to pay for it .

There's a good reason for that which, all being well, will be revealed before the end of the week.

If people wish to hold off from donating until then, that's not an issue due to someone underwriting the cost in advance and allowing the order to be placed.

They're bigger than they look....honest!!!

I know the pics could be deceiving but they look smaller than I anticipated

Thought the plan was to get one huge surfer flag?

Anyway I really like the one on the left not keen on the other one though a bit cringeworthy

Dougal, they're 9m x 6m in size.

It wasn't easy finding a table that size to lay them out for the photo, but thankfully one of the players had been doing Jack and the Beanstalk with the kids for World Book Day so we got wind of where the giant lived, snuck in and grabbed some quick shots in his dining room.

Photographs can be deceptive, but blimey, if they're 9 metres 'across', that blue chair at the back must be 3 metres wide!

People have always said I had a big ass!!!

so they're both 9m x 6m?

Yes  read your PMs

Judging by the chair in the background it looks more like 9ft x 6 ft

Come and see the big ones tomorrow

I'll come have a look when I pick my train ticket up, but given that that chair is say 3ft wide, that flag does not look 10 times wider than that chair

What a waste of money, thought it was meant to be a big surfer flag, nobody from the other side of the ground will be able to read it

They are miniatures of the real ones. lol

Each one is 54 sqM or just under 578 sq FT.

To the numerically inept thats 9m x6m or approx 29' 6" x 19' 6"

Even for me that was a pretty good score on the old wum scale...

For various reasons I wasn't able to get the full size ones laid out to get them photographed....those are just miniature samples.

The flags will be on show today but you will need to get in sharp to see them as it cant clash with the tv.

there were a bit too many restrictions today, if we can fill up section E on Wednesday its going to get used properly. So it will be good to be at your seats 10-15 mins before ko

Why were the flags not placed at the open ends of the main stand. They were totally empty and in full view of the TV. Everyone would have seen them. All the fafin about was a waste of time.

Good point, we missed a good opportunity in front of the cameras.

I dont want to go in to detail right now as to why we coluldnt fix them to the seats but its something to hopefully get resolved in time for the Hibs match.

It was good seeing them on display though.
